Work and Life (Self-employed so sometimes hard to tell which is which) have kept me away from decluttering for a few days. Thought that I would do some this afternoon but once I'd caught up with basic tidying I've got no energy left for decluttering so planning a restful eve and hopefully I will have energy to start again next week when I will be more home-based.

Hermia, thanks for the advice re wedding dresses. Unfortunately I am not sure they could re use going on what they say on the website.
I took another two bags of clothes to the CS this morning and am now up to 13/60 bags. I am very happy with that as it is only the start of February.
Working there this morning was a lot slower than last week. I did bring a very nice Christmas Tree home that was going to be put in the bin. I am going to check it then put and store it with the other Christmas stuff I am sorting from my own collection for later in the year.
I also bought a basket for wood that would have cost me £20.00 brand new. Got to start working on that next project now.
I see a lot of us are having to slow down a bit due to illness. Look after yourselves fols. Winter is here for a few more month yet.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. bit by bit, that is a large declutter - Well Done :T Can you stand up in your loft? Handmade wedding dress - that must mean you are a wonderful seamstress :T Have you considered donating for Angel Gowns? Apparently there are places that make burial gowns for cot death babies using wedding dresses - it sounds a lovely idea. Sorry, didn’t read down as far as Hermia’s post. Sorry the wedding dress idea didn’t pan outbut as you seem to be a dab hand perhaps you could do something yourself
Keeping my F*tb*t Happy is reaping benefits already
My resting heart rate is quite a bit lower already :T My DH has not been very good with his F*tb*t but his resting heart rate is in the mid 50’s - any lower & I think he might appear to have “fallen off his perch” :rotfl:
Hermia, that is lots of pennies cluttered :T and quite a few items decluttered - Well Done :T
Barny1979, big items decluttered - shame we can’t count as more than one :rotfl: oh wait, we can count how we like :rotfl:
parsniphead, excellent job on the bedroom :T You now have a haven to retreat to :T:D Good luck with the landing & stairs & the car :rotfl:
whmf00001, hope you find the videowhat a lovely thing to have. There are now places that covert from videotape to DVD and/or computer files. It might be worth spending a few pennies once you find the tape
IrishRose12, What is that saying ‘You snooze, you lose’- Well Done on finding a cs to take everything. Sorry you have been so ill & glad that you are on the mend
Were you just given 7 days of antibiotics to start with ? I usually find that a 10 day course prevents me having to have 2 lots of antibiotics & fortunately I have a doctor who listens :T possibly a rare commodity :rotfl:
Well done also on your sales - decluttering credit card debt :money:
Wednesday2000, I do love your picturemakes me smile every time I see it
You need lists - lots of lovely lists :rotfl: Then you just have to remember to look at your lists :rotfl: Alternative uses for unloved items - wonderful :T
Hermia, inventory lists :T Not a loon - seems to me to be a sensible idea - being able to lay your hands on everything & anything you need whenever you need it :T
phoebe1989SEB, I thought the walk-in cupboard was holding you hostage :rotfl: You obviously decluttered enough for the cupboard to release you on your own recognisance :rotfl: Well Done- that is a lot of stuff decluttered :T
onebrokelady, a very fruitful weekend :T CS open on a Sundaywhat a boon
The last time I visited my CS it was closed & I had to leave the donation bag on their doorstep
stellata, another who has had a successful weekendWell done :T
somerandom, you do know that ‘basic tidying’ stops clutter :T Please do not be so harsh on yourselfNot doing the ‘basic tidying’ is the start of clutter appearing  You turn your back for one second & there it is - a clutter hotspot :rotfl:
Well Done villagelife :T more clutter out, more peace in :T
chupachups4 - you are becoming a ‘decluttering demon’ - every item out is a win :T
I will see you all tomorrow with Sunday’s report :rotfl:

Today’s 5 minutes was a marathon with my OH on a mission to get his stuff sorted. We’re at the looks worse before it gets better but a huge bag of books is ready for the charity shop and the things in the ebay pile have been united with their boxes, chargers and other bits so we can start on that now.
Keep up the great work everyone!0 -
MIA here too, loaded with cold and then to add insult to injury I got a migraine. I decided to put myself to bed and stay there. I am beginning to feel a bit better now.
Good news, my new bedroom furniture is going to be delivered on Tuesday. The bad news, I have a ton of stuff in my room still in boxes and bags as I packed my room up ready for the new stuff and so I could get rid of the old.
I will have to empty my room so the new furniture can go in, THEN I can finally go through everything and get it all put away in it's new home. :j
I am still missing a box of kitchen items, I can only assume I put it in my room and it's lost in there somewhere. The iron is in the box, although I will confess I'm not missing that particular chore :rotfl:
Hope everyone is well or as well as you can be. Stay warm, snugly and germ free.Feb 2019 GC £151.53/£300God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, wisdom to know the difference.0
