Thought that those of you guys who are Audible members might want to know that Spark Joy (Marie Kondo) is today’s Audible offer at £2.99. The ‘accompanying material’ is available as a PDF download. I quite like the idea of being talked through the process as I work.
BTW if your local library is part of the Bolinda scheme you can download this and Life-Changing Magic free. You just need your library card details.

Parsniphead - So sorry to hear that sending you big hugs!
De cluttered a few bits to mum that I had hidden away and forgot to give back, more bits in charity bag that I will drop off tomorrow after taking DS to nursery.
Popped to the libary the other day and got the MK book so have been reading that and it is really inspiring, plus as I am borrowing it, less clutteralthough I did buy 2 more books today for me and 5 for DS they were all on offer in the W0rks
Was sitting on the loo the other day (sorry TMI) and looked over at the bath and realised there are some bath bits that I never use or have never used so they will go into CS bag!

I got so sick of the state of my spare room last night that I emptied it of everything except the furniture! I cleaned it all and am now slowly putting stuff back in a more organised fashion as well as having a good think about whether I want to keep things. I am now totally cream-crackered, but the good thing is I found some toiletries and cleaning supplies I forgot I had so that will save me some money.
My numbers for the last few days:
91-92) Books sent to Ziffit
93-95) Craft supplies sold on Facebook
96-101) Fridge magnets sold on ebay
102) Bag sold on ebay
103-104) Ornaments sold on ebay
105-115) Toiletries that have gone manky thrown away0 -
1. SMALL TASKS WILL BE DONE ASAP
2. I WILL LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I ENTERED
3. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT
4. WHEN DEALING WITH CLUTTER I WILL USE ‘Daisy1571’s idea of ‘WHAT WOULD I DO WITH THIS ITEM IF IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE’S ?’
5. IF I WAS STARTING FROM SCRATCH, WOULD I BUY THIS?
6. BE LIKE A POSTAGE STAMP - STICK TO ONE THING UNTIL YOU GET THERE
Thursday has been overcast & bitterly cold with a strong cold wind. 10 mins ago we had 5 minutes of snow  Batten down the hatches :rotfl:
My F*tb*t is happy again :rotfl:
DH had a full crown fitted today without anaesthetic  & came home in agony  So the pork medallions dinner has been put on hold until tomorrowI cooked fish, chips & peas for DSis with hm soup & hm croutons for DH & I.
Today I have continued decluttering the contents of the last box from the spare room - gradually getting there but still very slowly. I found my 1991 diary - a couple of good memories - the year my DNeph was born & the year we visited by Nonno (grandfather) in Italy & a couple of bad memories - I had the flu while we were in Italy - mid-April & a foot of snow  + that was the year I got bitten by a pit bullFortunately the pit bull only managed to get a couple of teeth right into my leg & my favourite cord skirt was a really good barrier + was so old & worn that a great big chunk got torn out of the skirt (rather than my leg) as the dog was dragged away :T Three weeks of treatment as the leg got infected  but I was grateful that I was & still am a chunky lady :rotfl: Also I was lucky that there were witnesses who took down the license plate of the car that the pit bull was bundled into :T Upshot was that the dog was put down (apparently it was a red-nosed pit bull - the most vicious type of pit bull - & was being trained to fight ) & the owner was fined but nothing happened to the handler  One really good thing that came out of the incident was that The Criminal Injuries Compensation Board decided to give me a decent amount of cash :j:T We spent it ALL on a marvellous 5 city tour of the U.S.A. in early 1992
. New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Las Vegas & San Francisco. Talk about being a lucky person

Hermia, :T:T another one through the 100 barrier & also bringing in lots of pennies :T:T
I have taken so long to write this that it has started snowing properly & it is settling. Apparently the forecast is for 3 inches :T:T. Of course that will mean London grinds to a halt :rotfl:

:hello: hi re the perfume, if you're still at work, perhaps leave in the cloakroom , anyone can have a spritz or even to use as air fresher after they've been to the loo!!
Also try women's refuge, many will be glad of the luxury items as well as basics.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0
