  • Ooooo 2 stars-an early Christmas present for me :). Thank u Mrs SD

Took items to CS this morning. Nearly all are smellies that I sorted out from my present stash box or DM had given me that just weren't going to be used

    *503-514 smellie sets x 11 to CS
    *515 booklet into recycling
*516 accidently got rid of some stuff that I thought we didn't need after DDs nose op. Turns out it was the cat gum cleaning stuff!!! -bottle now in recycling

Did come away with one set that I will pop away as a neutral item. I checked online when I got home, I paid £4 in store but they are £12 online so a good bargain to start.

I can tell a difference in my decluttering. Normally my present stashes/storage would be stuffed full but they're not at all, nor last year. It's a small difference but a difference I'm very happy with :)

Saturday has been another bitterly cold, bright day with a fair bit of sunshine :D.
DSis & DH have mostly confined themselves to the upstairs - bedroom & office respectively :rotfl: Only venturing downstairs for hot drinks & food ;) DSis had a sandwich for lunch & lo fish pie for dinner. DH & I finished the hm soup for lunch with hm croutons & sausage casserole with boiled rice for dinner. Still have one large portion of sausage casserole which can be a large lunch for DH or a snack for both of us ;)
Last night I finished scarf 7 & started scarf 8 :D This morning I delivered 4 scarves to one neighbour - he delivered them to the homeless shelter today. The other 3 scarves were delivered to another neighbour - G who invited me in & I was there for half an hour chatting to him & his wife about homelessness/social responsibility & the B word/election :p G really likes the scarves & even tried one - plenty long enough & soft & warm. A win all round :TG also advised that his church also provides beds for a couple of ladies so I will knit a couple of scarves in beige, purple or red. Apart from knitting, I have stayed in watching films :o

    Hi,

Interesting in how people find Marie Kondo - I did a chest of drawers her way and its stayed v neat - partly as I only use a very few things in it! Feeling overwhelmed by everything in my house.
DD1 broke her laptop, and boyfriend is staying as fell out with his parents but moves into a flat tomorrow - hopefully some of his things will go.

643 bag of DD1 and boyfriend's to recycling
644 - 648 hoover and branches of neighbours tree they wouldn't take to dump
649-650 Moving box full of wrapping paper freecycled
    651 - 655 electronic and paper clutter
    656 - 662 CS donations
    663 broken brush in bin
    664 plate broken
    665 - 666 important emails sent
    667 - toiletry to friend
668 - key telephone made and decluttered papers to go with it

Went to relaxing swim and somone kicked me in the shoulder so taking it easy - ice packs and pain killers (may have to count them as decluttered!)

Can see I can't get to 1000 this year unless something drastic happens

Hope to be motivated by reading what everyone else is up to :)

Been away for a few days but some decluttering has been done.

1499 a torn high vis jacket.
    1500 a shirt I haven't worn in years
    1501-1504 used up various toiletries.
    1505 packaging thrown away.
1506 more shredding done of things.

I have reached and passed 1500.
