Thursday was dry until about 10 p.m. - also slightly warmer than previous days.
DSis spent most of the day in her room. DH stayed in his office until about 4 p.m., when he had a bath & then out to meet old school friends for drinks - some of whom he has known for over 50 years  He left about 4:45 p.m. & got home about 11:00 p.m. very much the worse for wear :rotfl: he is a talkative drunkSo very chatty for the next 1.5 hours  so made him a coffee & a burger sandwich :rotfl:
DSis & I had burgers, chips & baked beans for dinner.
I cleared a couple more shelves in DH’s office, finished a 4th scarf & started on the 5th & cleared down a few more programmes from my planner.
4264 - 4282 One drinks can, 2 foil trays, 7 lots of cardboard packaging, 7 magazines (DSis), plastic bottle, food can - Recycled

Hi All.
Motivation not so great lately and I even forgot to take pre prepared bags tot the Charity shop. this week little isiter has said she and her family want to come over Easter next year. So I have a target again to continue to clear the room of doom and the rest of the house. It is not so bad but could do with as much work again.
Not able to sort out problems with MSe and the computer so logging in at work right now. but will keep checking in.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. I got rid of two soaps that irritate my skin today. I typically ordered a bulk load of them so the ones boxed up will have to be donated in my next charity bag donation.
I'm sure I couldn't have ordered 14 bars of soap!:rotfl: I think they must have sent me the wrong amount! Oh well, someone else can hopefully use them.
I sorted out my kitchen yesterday and got rid of a lot of packaging into the recycling bin. I cleared some room in the cupboard for the cat biscuits and the bird food as I felt like they were cluttering up the surfaces.:)
A foundation and a hand cream were used up too.Mrs_Salad_Dodger wrote: »

Hi all, I've not been on in a long time but I'm still going on the whole de-cluttering thing. I've lost count of how many objects have been ejected from the house....countless bags of rubbish, bags to charity shops, boxes of baby clothes given away, furniture sold or taken apart.....the whole house does feel lighter aside from the loft which is where all the stuff I can't/don't know how to decide about is currently being kept. I am planning on tackling it in December (fewer bugs up there in the winter!!) so it's clean, tidy and hopefully we can get all the surplus stuff out in Dec/Jan ready for potentially moving in Feb/Mar. Glad to see everyone is still going strong.Changing my Family's Future!! - Starting again!!!!

I've been on a mission today. :j
I was looking at Black Friday deals on storage on A*azon and I was just about to click buy and then I thought I would look around my house instead.
I got a metal rack down from upstairs and emptied some seagrass storage boxes and put them on the shelves of the rack. They can store the pet blankets now. It looks quite smart as I have my fake Tiffany lamp on the top shelf.
Very MSE.:money:
I binned a broken coat hanger and found another glass jar that needs recycling.
I added two pairs of flip flops to the donation bag along with the 14 soaps.:D My husband's old jacket can go to as I just bought him a "new" coat from a chazzer.
I also found a scented candle I forgot I bought!:T2025 GOALS

More soup l/o from a chicken meal which I blitzed up. used a cube of a new type begins with a G but cba to go in kitchen to check what it is called, think it is Knorr, there were 2 new cubes on sale, this one and one for beef - just love to try new stuff. A pkt of Moroccan chicken spice mix, Maggi I think, will do in SC so that will last 2 or 3 days, may end up with some blitzed, freezing soup for when I am back from hospital operation.0
