Tuesday has been another dry day but oh so cold 🥶
DH took the motorbike in for a major service - roadworks & traffic meant that he took 1.5 hours for a 45 minute journey grrrr 😖 He had a late breakfast & an hair cut & came back by tube & DLR. He will pick the bike up tomorrow. Why do men have their hair cut really short when the weather is so cold - my nephew does the same thing :D
DSis spent all day in her room trying to rid herself of a headache - with no success :(

I cleared another series off my planner & finished 3rd scarf & started on 4th.
Dinner was the 2nd half of Monday’s Chinese.

4209 - 4225 Two drinks cans, 2 plastic takeaway boxes & lids, 4 plastic lids, booklet, 5 lots of paper packaging, large cardboard box, glass bottle & metal cap, plastic bottle - Recycled
4226 - 4227 Bag of kitchen detritus, sponge scourer - Binned
    4228 - 4230 Two 2020 calendars, small notebook - CS bag

Well Done Barny1979 :T Your CS must love you.

  • Went to haitdressers yesterday, I go to a training centre so cut and blow dry costs £7, very good. When I went I took a curling wand, only used half dozen times and a box of lovely heated rollers, they were very pleased and of course they will have to be PAT but they will be good for the students to use on the wigs.

Wednesday has been yet another dry day but again so cold 🥶
DH picked up the motorbike - needed new rear brakes before it passed it’s MOT - then the full service. Good journey to the garage by DLR & tube but then had to wait for the bill as computer problems :( 68p short of £600  Then his nightmare began  DH was returning via Sa*nsb*rys but the traffic was absolutely horrendous. Finally got to sm, shopped & got home about 7 p.m. having left the house about 11:30  He really was not a happy bunny

DSis cleared several of her programmes off the planner.

I had a more productive day :p Remembered to pick up my gloves only to discover that one of the seams had a hole :o Cue needle & thread & a quick repair (as per number 1 mantra :rotfl:) Used my Freedom Oyster card for the 1st time :j Posted cards, then walked to Charity shops. Dropped off the pastel scarf & baby blanket at the clothing CS & then walked the few yards to the main CS which had a board over the door :( Discovered that several youths had smashed the glass & stolen the till  You couldn’t make it up
Luckily the charity “I  Community” had opened up another shop - a bit smaller & crammed to the gunnels ; The donation most appreciated was the stack of plastic carrier bags :rotfl: I asked if there was anything particular they needed & discovered that they have started doing street food & are spending a fortune on plastic food containers :( my cue to offer plastic takeaway boxes - once I retrieve them from my Recycling Bin :rotfl: Lovely chat with the ladies & then I headed off to find the Chinese Massage Centre which I had googled.
Having had my birthday massage & enjoying it, I decided that I would treat myself once a month :p I have a consultation booked for Friday & then probably a massage & maybe even acupuncture :rotfl: getting very adventurous in my old age :rotfl:
Got back & fished out the takeaway boxes & lids from the Recycling Bin, washed again & added 4 more from my supply :rotfl: - 7 in total

Dinner was lamb chops (from the butcher) with mash & mixed vegetables.

4231 - 4253 Two drinks cans, glass bottle & metal cap, from DH - 11 magazines, 1” general paperwork, 3 foil trays, 3 lots of cardboard packaging, plastic pot & lid, newspaper - Recycled
4254 - 4259 Bag of kitchen detritus, 2” of shredding, 3 lots of plastic packaging - Binned
    4260 - 4263 Four takeaway boxes & lids - CS bag

Well Done Picklepot :T Baby steps are nothing to be sad about :naughty: There are only a certain number of large inroads that can be made - RL gets in the way ;)

Well Done Happy Kitties :T the bits as you go along are just as important as the big decluttering projects ;)

Excellent work Barny1979 :T A Gold Star ⭐️ is on it’s way to you - another milestone reached :T

Well Done TC77 :T Personally I would have counted as TEN :p at least 5 of which would be for the stress of having to nag :rotfl:

    Happy decluttering everyone ;)
