Wednesday & Thursday have been mixed weather but oh so cold - I think winter is a bit early :(
Yesterday I finished making the soup - very tasty. DH & I spent a lot of time on the computer - I am now a member of the BA Executive Club :) We then tried to order a spare pair of glasses from Gl*ss*s D*r*ct - what a waste of time  You make your choice, finally manage to plug in your prescription & want to put in payment details when hey presto you are informed that your eyes are too bad  Why they don’t put that info on the front page I do not know - it is not as if you can change your prescription  30 minutes wasted :( Ended up ordering a pair of glasses from another online supplier who had no restrictions on lens strength :D but obviously more expensive :( Then we applied for my free Oyster Card - talk about complicated - took an hour but I have received an email confirming payment & I received an email today saying that my photo was OK :T Not sure how long I have to wait for the actual pass but at least it is done :rotfl: Dinner was chicken fried in butter, boiled potatoes & sweetcorn plus mashed sweet potato for DH & I.
Thursday apart from finishing a scarf I have done sweet f*nny *d*ms :rotfl: We had takeaway Chinese so I didn’t even cook :o One of the baby blankets will not make it to the CS as I gave it to a neighbour as she was taking her baby girl out. She was very grateful & put it straight in the pram ;)

4105 - 4114 Glass bottle, 3 drinks cans, 2 lots of cardboard packaging, food can, bin of recycling from DH, plastic takeaway box & lid, uu yeast metal pot & plastic lid - Recycled
4115 - 4116 Bag of kitchen detritus, small amount of cellophane - Binned

Well done villagelife :T How long did you keep the plastic pots?

You are more than welcome Picklepot - keep up the good work :T I tend to get stressed about DSis’s medical appointments :( Very happy that you are noticing clear spaces :D

Well Done Happy Kitties :T 500 is calling you :rotfl:

Great work TC77 :rotfl: Hope the spot where the chest of drawers was is still clear ;)

Keep up the good work choille :T It is not only the short days but the cold :( that gets me down.

Well Done Barny1979 :T that is a lot of royal memorabilia ; Have you been watching the programmes about Charles & the Queen’s wedding? I have found them very interesting.

Keep up the good work everyone :T

Friday has been a wet & miserable day :( DSis has spent most of the day in her room catching up on a couple of months of Coronation Street & Eastenders - only emerging for drinks & food.
DH has stayed in his office - watching motorcycle racing & organising our Wild West motorcycle holiday for May 2020. Very exciting & my DH really does enjoy the planning & gathering info - makes it very easy for me :rotfl:
I spent the morning sorting out paperwork & finances & arranging lunch dates. The afternoon has been spent knitting & clearing down my planner - I am loving The Secret Life of The Zoo.
Dinner was the 2nd half of last night’s Chinese.

4117 - 4131 Two drinks cans, cardboard packaging, 3 plastic takeaway boxes & lids, 3 plastic lids, 3 booklets, newspaper, magazine, plastic bottle - Recycled
4132 - 4134 Bag of kitchen detritus, plastic packaging, 0.25” shredding - Binned

You must have really liked collecting Barny1979 :rotfl: but at least it is bumping up your numbers - well done :T The programme about the Queen’s wedding was really interesting from a societal perspective & Prince Philip was quite a dish ;)

Keep up the good work Picklepot :T

    Happy decluttering everyone ;)

  • I've used up a foot cream and a hand cream this week.

I have another large donation bag for the chazzer again. I'm also having to donate some new moisturisers that I got a nasty reaction on my skin to.

I'm going to use up the end of a scented candle today.

I need to declutter some weeds next week too.

  • Well, the bedding bale was put up for sale but then my friend came round with a Slovakian Ginger Cake she had made and She said she would like it, actually she wanted for her dogs but when she checked she said they were too good, even for her babies, and that she would have them for her and babies could have her old ones !!! I was so pleased as I wanted them to go to a Good home !!! Obviously no charge so will have to take off web site now. Have de-cluttered 500 g sultanas, finished a bottle of choclate wine I did not really like very much and some flour and made 2 small tins size and 1 large tin size Xmas cakes and used an old bought Xmas pudding basin to finish off the mix. All in sc' now, hopefully as Xmas gifts. Got box of cards out - about 5 years old, bought as usual after Xmas - so am planning on writing cards this afternoon whilst wrapping gifts. Hopeing that the majority of Xmas stuff will be dealt with before I go in for op as I will be away from home for at least 2 weeks and then not very mobile. Have told daughter I will need to be brought home to pick up my postal vote form, not sure who to go for but refuse ro not vote,

Spent the afternoon decluttering up to 6 years of receipts. Some critical ones kept for guarantees but filled a bin with the other. Woo hoo!

Fed up with kids stuff (they're 15 and 22) and oldest boyfriend's stuff which is in my house after they moved out of flat (he's back with family but not his vast wardrobe).

Then I realise 80% of things are mine so ploughing on....

    555 non working charger
    556 earplugs not working
557 - 562 socks, fabric samples and trackies to textile recycling
563 - 570 bags of screws and DIY odd bits picked up (and person happy to come back for more)

Have put all wrapping paper together, and rediscovered presents for Xmas
Have a box of presents for charity (no longer appropriate for people I bought for etc)
571 - old face cream used up
572 rubbish from under bed/drawers where wrapping paper was

Hoover on freecycle and hope some stuff will go on ebay.

    573 paper clutter
    574 email declutter

Think I need to average 75 per week to get to 1000 for the new year - seems ambitious but necessary :)

Still have things from my dad's in car to take to salvation army, and bag for food bank.

Hope everyone staying warm and good luck with decluttering.
