Friday started very overcast with the threat of rain - it was forecast according to DH :(
Showered & went to breakfast (running the gauntlet of a a medical conference/display. Lady pianist today. 4 days breakfasts - 4 different tables ;) This morning DH had Lambrusco & I had glass of iced green tea. Cooked breakfast then back to our room. We packed whilst DH waited for his time slot to check in. We were booked on a bus tour to see the Bone Church (Sedlec Ossuary) in Kutna Hora & St Barbara’s Church also in Kutna Hora.
We were the first pick up @ 12:05 & then just 9 more people - elderly American couple, Mexican couple, Chinese couple, another English couple & a Belarussian Canadian. Driver & a tour guide. Kutna Hora is about 1 hr 20 minutes from Prague. Arrived about 2:15 p.m. The Bone Church (8 million bones) is morbid but spectacular. Spent about 30 mins there, then back on bus to St Barbara’s. By this time there was lots of blue sky & sunshine. Less like a church, more like a cathedral. Stunningly beautiful inside with a 4,000 pipe organ  We ascended what seemed like 200 steps (stone steps in a spiral) to reach the gallery - great view of the organ & the stunning altar.
Now for the sad bit - it was only 84 steps  DH & I really do need to do something about our fitness :o Then enough time to have a drink in a little Italian restaurant before heading back to Prague in the dark about 6 p.m. Walked back to the hotel, dropped off bag & camera, had a drink in the hotel bar & then walked to our bar :rotfl: We had a table booked for 7:30 p.m. DH & I shared a starter 3 pots of pate - chicken, goose & duck with toast. It was absolutely scrumptious 😋 😋 DH had fish on a bed of mashed potato with a cream sauce whilst I decided on Goulash with 2 types of dumplings - I have no words to describe how tasty it was :rotfl: DH was a bit disappointed with his fish but as he ended up with half my goulash he was more than happy. Our live music was provided by a 4 piece band - guitarist, trumpeter, clarinetist & double bassist - playing jazz music. Jazz is something I can take or leave - so had one more beer after dinner then left it :rotfl:
We have been in bed since 10 - DH is snoring like a train & I am watching the German Ninja Warrior programme on TV :p
We have had the most wonderful day which is unfortunately our last :(:(
Pick up for the airport is 9:00 am tomorrow, flight is at 11:00 & we should be home by 1:30 p.m. Boo 😒

Well Done Catcrazy :T Another person teasing us with their journey to 500 :rotfl:

Now there is no need for that dreaded word whmf00001 :rotfl: Hope plans are made early enough that you do not have to stay overnight ;) maybe a taxi home ?

Thanks Wednesday2000 - it was absolutely lovely. However it appears I bruise easily - big bruise on one arm & lots of finger sized bruises on my back on the shoulder blade

Well done Picklepot :T you are now on 339 ;) - if you keep depriving yourself you will reach 400, let alone 500 :rotfl: Thank you for the birthday greetings. Prague is wonderful, so we’ll be back said in my best Terminator voice :rotfl: Picklepot, I really enjoy reading your ‘positives of decluttering’ :T

Keep up the good work everyone :T

Belated Happy Birthday Mrs SD and loved hearing about your trip. Went to Prague 22 years ago when pregnant with DD1.

Trying to push forward on decluttering and major matters. DD1 has health issues but found out my appeal for her PIP payment was successful! v hard to get as MH primarily.

503 - sorted through large PIP paperwork and edited
    504-505 rubber gloves
    506 - paper work
    507-508 birthday cards
509 faulty coat back to shop
    510 electronic clutter
511 sitting room cleared of small rubbish
    512 old food binned

going to try and post more regularly as think I miss things

have some diy stuff to be collected via freecycle and hoping a few other things, and may ebay a few things. This weekend focusing on catching up with friends so won't do much.
  • Two pairs of old tights binned.

I have to get rid of a favourite grey dress as it is too big for me now.:( I might have to go through our wardrobes again to see if there is anything else that can go. I have a pair of boots that pinched my feet last time I wore them. They can go too.

I had a visitor round yesterday so I tidied up the kitchen and cleared all the surfaces. I went through the cupboards and I have a tin of tuna that is nearing it's use by date so the cats can have that tonight. I'm using up some passata and the rest of the red onions to make a veggie spag bol tonight. I will freeze some of the portions for lunches.
Thanks Wednesday2000 - it was absolutely lovely. However it appears I bruise easily - big bruise on one arm & lots of finger sized bruises on my back on the shoulder blade

We had a masseur come to our office years ago and I got the same thing. I had to tell her to be very gentle with me.:o:D

    Hi All,
Been MIA. Still very busy. Have just spend last three days with elderly aunt.
Still been decluttering. Last Sunday, pulled everything out of parts of my wardrobe and reorganised it and binned unnecessary things, mostly paper items. Several shoe boxes still need to be gone through - bits and bobs in them.
    Will write again soon. Gem-gem
