Saturday & Sunday have been mainly dry & mostly cloudless. DSis has basically spent the entire weekend in her room apart from meal times & popping down to make hot drinks - although she did do a wash load today. Left it too late to hang out so had to use td :( DH has spent the weekend in his office watching the motorcycle practice sessions, qualifying & the actual races. I have just finished watching the races - some rather grim accidents/crashes but fortunately no serious injuries :T
I have cleared down a few more programmes from my planner whilst continuing to knit scarves :rotfl: The 2nd scarf is completed & I have started a 3rd. Wish I could knit faster as another neighbour also helps the homeless & has put in a request for scarves ;)
Saturday night DH cooked his cheesey pasta - using up most of the cheese. Very tasty notwithstanding the non stick coating which came off the pan  The pan has been washed & is in the bag for the Tip :(
Sunday I continued clearing programmes & knitting but did take time out to do an sm shop. Dinner was sausages, mash, baked mushrooms & tomatoes & baked beans - delicious 🤤 . Lunch both days was hm soup - very tasty 😋 & enough left for Monday’s lunch. Gradually emptying the freezer but I do need to try harder :rotfl: if I am to defrost it soon. Also need to clean the fridge as DH has made such a good job on emptying the cheese shelf :rotfl:

565-569: another 5 books to the charity shop bag
570: redirected mail from previous tenants to postbox
571: blood test decluttered last week (still one to go)
572: Finally got the carpets cleaned but not by the original company as they didn't listen when I said it's the top floor of a 3 story building, is that a problem...

Apart from that, it's now the season where it's a good idea to add 30 minutes travel time on the way to the 2 jobs in the city centre - I have to use some fairly obscure walking routes to avoid the crowds :D

Will it be finished before 2020?

I am starting to believe it might, just tiling and decorating left to do in the kitchen. :j

    2015 - 2018 - Kitchen "stuff" to CS
    2019 - 2020 - 2 sets pyjamas to CS
2021 - 2024 - 4 large boxes of Denby Crockery sold on FB
    2025 - 2032 - Plastic to recycling
2033 - Holey sock to bin
    2034 - 2056 - Various papers, leaflets to recycling
    2057 -2059 - glass to recycling

I have beaten the 2019 target and am sure I have surpassed it by much more than listed as I did not always count everything

Thank you Mrs SD, it has been enlightening and has got hubby on board as well so looking forward to bypassing the count of 2020 next year.

Thank you for the gold star. I will wear it with pride.

I was thinking about scanning my folder of medical records so that I could get rid of the folder out of my wardrobe. Has anyone else done this?

Monday was a dry day with some blue skies & sunshine but chilly 🥶 I did 2 wash loads & put out on whirligig. Partially dried but had to finish off in td :( DSis spent the morning & early afternoon in her room then came down & cleared a few more programmes off the planner.
I forgot to mention that yesterday DH advised that he was going to start sorting out his office but required my assistance to declutter :rotfl: I was gobsmacked  however I agreed especially as he was going to create a space for me :T to be able to use one of my hand crank sewing machines once it has been serviced & is working properly :T :rotfl:
We spent 2.5 hours working & made a good start :) The L-shaped work surface that DH hand built was cleared completely - including unplugging computers, monitors, speakers, printer etc. I thoroughly bleach cleaned the work surface & wiped down all the electricals including cables ;) I also vacuumed. Then DH put everything back in their new positions. There is a crate & a shoe box of paperwork, stationery items, extra cables etc that need to be sorted but not urgent. We then moved onto one of the 3 tall shelving units. Cleared completely, washed down & moved away from wall - DH will be replacing the foam backed carpet tiles with sturdier carpet tiles. We have a large box of DVDs - we will be brutal & most will go to CS. The books (which we brought over from France ) have been moved to the spare room & DH will be trying to sell them. However if no joy they will be donated to an CS. Plenty of recycling, bits for Tip & small bag of rubbish.
Unfortunately tomorrow DH is taking one of his motorbikes in for a major service so no real work will be done in the office :( I suppose I should write Christmas cards :(
Dinner was Chinese as DH was being kind :rotfl:

4171 - 4193 Two drinks cans, plastic takeaway box & lid,13 small cardboard boxes, large bag of recycling from office, manual, 5 lots of cardboard packaging - Recycled
4194 - 4195 Bag of kitchen detritus, small bag of office rubbish - Binned
4196 - 4206 Large broken place mat, mouse mat, old plug, set of cables, 2 CDs, 3 DVDs, 2 reel to reel tapes - Tip bag
4207 - 4208 Pack of 5 blank DVDs, magnetic iPad cover - CS bag

Well Done short_bird :T Don’t you just hate incompetence & selective ignorance

Yippee gilly1964 :T Almost a new kitchen :D & 2019 target blown out of the water :T I hope you don’t abandon us completely next year :( even if you don’t do a 2020 declutter :rotfl:

Well Done on the decluttering villagelife :T Only six months :rotfl:

Well Done Barny1979 :T. You were obviously a very keen collector :rotfl: judging by the number of items you are donating :rotfl:

You are more than welcome Gem-gem :D No experience of this but if you do scan your medical records perhaps save them to a memory stick/card as well as on PC.

    Happy decluttering everyone ;)
