I know what you meen Rootle but as there is only me I cannot justify upgrading, spend too much time viewing now. Nothing being done at the moment as back is still very bad, doc came and has given me stronger additional pain killers so hopefully will ease up soon. Can just about manage cooking from freezer.0

Yesterday I filled up my trusty shopping trolley and took 6 old college books, 15 DVDs, numerous brand new pet supplies that I never used, 5 photo frames and 4 ornaments down to the CS.
Today was clearance day so I now have 3 empty bedrooms and zero clutter upstairs! I may have run around the bedrooms shouting 'echo!!' just for the effect!LOL
Also (this may be a first for the thread) I decluttered....a tree! It had grown in the wrong place and was pushing the fence over so handily the clearance guys are also tree surgeons and I am now 1 large ash tree lighter!0 -
I've not been around for a couple of weeks as there's been very little to report, so I'm afraid I have just skimmed posts
in an effort to catch up.
MrsSD, I love that you are beautifying a shared area! It makes me think I should make more effort.
I've done a round up of my lists since the end of September and the results are:
16 pieces of paper, two cardboard tubes, a broken lid, 2 mugs that got broken, DS2's empty beer bottle that was left in the kitchen, a bottle of olive oil finished & recycled (we had 3 for some reason), 4 tomato plants to compost and a mending project completed.
New total 1,893/2019.
Housework is looking neglected so I'm going to spruce things up briefly then head off to work. There may not be many more items to report this weekend as I'll be at work much of the time.
Keep up the good work everyone.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

I took a bag away with me for the weekend and I realised how uncomfortable the strap was so that will be donated to a charity shop! It is in very good condition so hopefully it would be okay for someone else as long as they don't have to fill it up too much.
I then looked through my wardrobe again and put in a vest top, a skirt and a dress as well.
I bought my hubbie some new warm winter jumpers so I'm going to go through his wardrobe again too.:)
The donation bag will be taken tomorrow. It is full up.
One messenger bag.
Three of my husband's jumpers.
Three almost identical purple vest tops that I never wear!
One black top.
Two dresses.
Two scarves.
One skirt.

Friday has been down to earth with a bump - rained hard all morning - DH took DSis on the motorbike & dropped her off at the hospital. Follow up appointment re fatty liver - scan OK & now just has to see GP for annual blood tests. DH took ages to return - accident in the tunnel & DSis had to wait over an hour for a 5 minute appointment  Then took more than 2 hours to get home - the 5 minute walk to the station was 25 minutes & then she decided to go shopping :rotfl: She picked up a lasagne & garlic bread from M&S - it was delicious & saved me cooking :T
Rained on & off all day but I did manage to find a dry 20 minutes to pull up the tomato plants (having stripped them of loads of green tomatoes). Plants composted & now need to find a Recipe for green tomato chutney.
