Hello all
Been a bit distracted lately and haven't done any decluttering except for a wisdom tooth on Tuesday . So another hit on the old purse, that makes 3 big things paid for ......... can't be any more, can it ? I'm no longer in pain but still have a swollen face and tongue. Only good thing about losing the tooth is I haven't been able/ don't want to eat and so I've lost a bit of weight :j.
Take care all and keep up the good work.
nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
35/52 - 6 more CDs to charity recycling. The good thing about CD decluttering is that there is zero coming back in the way!
MrsSD - I've just upgraded to a SkyQ box and I have so much space that I can record as much as I want with no consequences. Sounds great but I miss the feeling of tidying up the planner and keeping on top of my watchings! :cool:0 -

2. I WILL LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I ENTERED
3. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT
4. WHEN DEALING WITH CLUTTER I WILL USE ‘Daisy1571’s idea of ‘WHAT WOULD I DO WITH THIS ITEM IF IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE’S ?’
5. IF I WAS STARTING FROM SCRATCH, WOULD I BUY THIS?
6. BE LIKE A POSTAGE STAMP - STICK TO ONE THING UNTIL YOU GET THERE
Thursday has been a lovely sunny & dry day but rather windy. Did 2 stints of beautifying - one hour + 40 minutes - the entire kerbside round our close is now weed free & I have also weeded 14 of 16 pathways & front door steps. Fortunately the 2 that are left to do are hidden by a hedge :rotfl: so I will probably only do 30 minute sessions. The close looks so much better now & yet another neighbour has noticed & is appreciative - had a nice chat. Also chatted to the neighbours who originally inspired me on my beautifying project - description of my efforts was ‘the area looks sharp & well cared for’ I am rather chuffed with myself& my F*tb*t is very happy
DH spent time in the garage working on various projects. DSis spent most of the day in her room. My hm soup was zizzed & is delicious if just a tad too spicy - DH & I had a bowl each for lunch. I also went to sm - lazily took the bus both ways
Dinner was fish, fishcakes, chips & peas.
3664 - 3675 Three drinks tins, glass bottle & metal cap, 2 magazines, 0.5” paperwork, 5 lots of cardboard packaging - Recycled
3676 - 3684 Two lots of plastic packaging, bag of kitchen detritus, pair of rubber gloves + plastic bottle & 4 plastic trays - fished out of the neighbour’s hedge :rotfl: - Binned

See you all tomorrow
