So much for Saturday being drierHas rained all day - slow, slow, quick, quick, slow
Tried to get up in time to catch the milkman but failed abysmally - owe him a small fortune
Managed to get to & from the sm during the slow, slow rain :rotfl: Made the checkout girl laugh - told her I was treating myself to a special roasting tin (one wide edge for ease of handling + a corner groove for ease of pouring out the fat :T) rather than a manicure which other people would consider a treat :rotfl: Got back about 2:30 p.m. just as DH & DSis were stirring from their pitsDSis had bought some M&S pizzas - so lunch was sorted. DSis did 2 loads of washing - tumble dried
means I will have to do my washing tomorrow
:(
Dinner was sausages, mash & plum tomatoes - very tasty 😋
No decluttering & no beautifying
3700 - 3715 Two drinks tins, glass bottle & metal cap, 5 lots of cardboard packaging, 4” paper packaging, 2 food cans, plastic pot & lid, plastic carton - Recycled
3716 - 3717 Bag of kitchen detritus, Large foil tray (I was going to keep it - unfortunately it had a hole in it & leaked out all the water over the kitchen floor & into a cupboard  so in a fit of pique I binned it rather than clean & recycle) - Binned

I have been using up a lot of products this week. Four samples of shampoo and conditioner as well as an exfoliator. I went through the medicine box and threw away all the cough medicine as I had a vomiting incident with it again!:rotfl:
I gave my husband some foot cream to use up. I took a moisturiser from him that he didn't like and used it as body lotion.
I tried on some PJ bottoms yesterday as it was chilly and the material is too itchy on my skin so I cut them up and cleaned the floors with them and then binned them.
All the glass went to recycling.
I have an Amazon Fresh delivery today so all the fruit left in the bowl will be put in a smoothie. I have leftover rice and veg so I will make a nice hot curry later to clean out the fridge.
It's been really pouring it down here too. It's been good for decluttering being stuck indoors with a cold!:TMrs_Salad_Dodger wrote: »Oh dear Wednesday2000is your CS open on Sundays?

Sunday started with lots of rain but about 3 p.m. it stopped raining & stayed mostly dry if rather cloudybut reasonably warm. However this did mean that I managed an half hour stint of beautifying
The only other thing I did was the interminable prepping for a full roast beef dinner - roast beef & potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips, chow chow & sweet potato plus Yorkshire puddings & steamed spinach. As DH was in the bath I had to make the gravy
rather put DH’s nose out of joint as that is usually his contribution & to add insult to injury my gravy was rather good
Dinner was absolutely delicious - even if I say so myself. It was a large beef joint so I have sliced half the lo beef & added the lo gravy (ready for tomorrow) & put a 500g piece in the freezer.
The washing up is done & now I am just watching the last episode of Sanditon. Not quite sure if I like it or not - but I have persevered :rotfl:
