    Hello!

I know I'm really late to the thread, but I really want to get to grips with decluttering before Christmas and I'm hoping this thread will keep me on track. I made a start at the weekend:

1 - Bag of clothes to charity shop
2 - Gummy maker sold (bought it and never used it!)
3 - Toot Toot stuff of DD's sold (outgrown)
4 - Baby gate listed for sale - was for DD's bedroom, but never used in the end as she is too scared of the dark to get out of bed in the night lol

Unfortunately, 3 items in - lovely snow globes for DD that someone offered up for free on FB.

    Must try harder! lol

2 big bin bags of old clothes to the CS today. That is the last of my big mammoth clearout gone, from now on it will just be bits and bobs. :)
Sorted out my home filing system too so now I just keep the most recent bills and statements and the old stuff either goes into my paper recycling bag or a box for the compost bin (its quite relaxing sitting there hand shredded old paper and toilet roll inners!! Kinda like knitting for the untalented!LOL).
Oh, and bin day tomorrow so lots of recycling to go out later.

Monday it started to rain after I posted :( & continued through the evening :( but it stayed relatively warm :T. Darned a sock :rotfl:
Tuesday has been a mostly dry & sunny day but quite chilly & the night time temperature has dropped considerably. Posted a birthday card. Did an sm shop & topped up my tp stash by 18 :rotfl: MrA had no mascarpone so I had to get Crème fraiche :( Tweaked an internet recipe for a creamy mushroom sauce - spring onions, added a chicken breast (finely sliced) & had with fresh egg tagliatelle - absolutely yummy 🤤 The los have been put in a Pyrex dish, topped with sliced mozzarella & hg tomatoes & sprinkled with some salt & pepper. All set for a snack tomorrow for DH & DSis & I will finish off the hm soup.
However actual decluttering & beautifying has come to a complete standstill :o I just cannot summon up any enthusiasm at all - I haven’t even started writing my C******** cards :(. BUt I am gradually clearing down my TV planner :p

Wednesday has been a lovely dry & sunny day (hopefully it will charge up the garden light :D) - quite warm as well especially as I did about 1.5 hours of beautifying ably assisted by DSis for half an hour :D - although she was not enamoured of the extending patio knife :rotfl: The last 2 doorsteps & the paths leading up to them have been weeded :j & I also did some light pruning of plants/bushes ;) + quick scrape of kerbside (weeds have made a comeback because of all the rain ) Now all that is left is the curved path hidden behind the large bush in the shape of a car ;) & the decorative bricks in the front garden of No 136. Probably another 5 hours of work  DH & DSis enjoyed their snack of last nights los - both bemoaned the fact they had to share :rotfl: & I enjoyed the last bowl of hm soup with the last of the Crème Fraiche
Dinner will be pork steaks, boiled baby potatoes & vegetables to be decided.

3772 - 3783 Three drinks tins, glass bottle & metal cap, plastic bottle, & from DH - 5 magazines, cardboard box, 0.5” paperwork - Recycled
3784 - 3785 Bag of kitchen detritus, plastic packaging - Binned
3786 Bag of weeds etc - Garden Waste council collection

See you all tomorrow - hope the rain holds off so I can carry on beautifying :rotfl: - although I do have a hearing test in town :( so might not bother with the gardening :rotfl:
