I have been off the board as banned. So naught trying to put stars into a post. Anyway. i am not able to get back on y home IP address so doing this from work.
In the last few weeks, another several bags gone to the CS. I am up to 81 on that count.
A fridge freezer sold so another large item out, that is 15 this year.
last night and I bit the bullet and tore up all the shoe boxes up for recycling as too big for Christmas Child and I had loads of plastic and fabric boxes for other storage. I have found a huge amount of space too plus I filled the wheelie bin.
I have been working by sorting stuff into type. i have two huge boxes of notebooks, a huge box of bags. It is working tho. Time for it all to go.
Awaiting donation are 3 more bags including some Christmas stuff, things I bought to sell and never did and a bag of repaired and washed soft toys that would have gone into landfill.
Well done for everyone's amazing clearing out while I have been away.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Friday has been almost a repeat of Thursday - dry, rain, rain, 2 hours of dry & then the heavens opened. Didn’t get round to sorting/binning the old make up but we did go to Sn*ppy Sn*ps in Canary Wharf. DSis needed photos for driving licence & I needed photos for my free travel in London Oyst*r Card :T DSis kindly paid for mineThen DH treated us to coffee & cake in the most expensive coster lotta  (Forgot to mention DSis did the washing up Thursday night :T - I dried & put away). Dinner was oven baked lamb loin chops (from the butchers) with boiled potatoes, carrots, broccoli & cauliflower. Then apple & rhubarb crumble & custard for afters - yummy 😋
The hand crank sewing machine is a Frister & Rossmann circa 1909 in a wooden case with the key :T I was really looking forward to using it but although you can turn the handle you need to be Samson to get any speed up :rotfl: So DH has sourced a repair shop & we will get it serviced but DH will restore the case. The machine itself is beautiful very ornate - unfortunately no manual - hopefully we can find one - fingers crossed 🤞
Still no decluttering but I am gradually enticing my mojo back from its holiday :rotfl:
3801 - 3807 Three drinks tins, glass bottle & metal cap, glass jar & metal lid, cardboard packaging, newspaper - Recycled
3808 - 3811 Bag of kitchen detritus, plastic packaging, worn out sponge scourer, worn out sponge cloth - Binned
Oh whmf00001 - spitting feathers comes to mind  Fingers crossed 🤞 that the engineer can sort it out without you having to buy a new battery. Glad your back is on the mend.
Well Done euronorris :T Your decluttering is obviously having an effect on your DH :T
Well Done Barny1979 :T slow but sure :T
Well Done Wednesday2000 :T you should tell your DH that he is getting all the credit from the CS whilst you are doing all the work decluttering :rotfl:
Excellent work villagelife :T I love the eggs & egg box to a 2 year old :rotfl:
Brilliant work on the decluttering bit by bit :T You appear to be going the Marie Kondo route
Re your IP address being banned have you contacted the Forum Team? I was banned twice in two months at the beginning of the year  but followed their advice once I had been reinstated - I am on Safari & I clear History & Website Data every Sunday. I also set myself some rules when posting - not TOO many emojis, maximum number of 6 posts each day, try to complete & send a post as quickly as possible (limited success on this as evidenced by my long posts) I wish you luck on getting reinstated
I am wondering what effect the new Platform will have - just hope our OS Forum keeps all our wonderful threads
See you later fellow declutterers

Engineer came and both batteries are dead so to get it moving would have to buy at least one. His advice is to sell minus battery, could get around £100 pounds as it is in v good condition but is more a niche wheelchair, not a road worthy type, more for car boot and travelling. Have to gird loins to tackle an EBay posting. At least he did not charge for the visit after all so that was a win/ Hoping to get as far a the car today, want to get some stuff for Lidl as I wanted things the last 2 weeks but could not get there, it may or may not happen.0

5 - DH birthday cards still cluttering up the sides
6 - Some craft/artwork from DD (can't keep it all)
And.....I was thinking yesterday how I'd like to blitz the living room tomorrow, and take the cover off the sofa and give it a wash etc. But I knew I'd have to get DH on board, which isn't always easy. Well, last night I got home and HE suggested it to ME! Yes!
Ok, we had a very busy day. Sorted through DDs toys. ALL of them.
7-27 - small broken toys, or bits of them, or containers they came in - bin or recycling
28 - small bag of little plastic toys to CS
29 - a bigger toy to charity shop
30 - magnetic puzzle sold for £4
31 - a walking unicorn (only works sometimes) being collected today
At least 5 more of her toys listed for sale.
Living room tidied. Sofa moved, hoovered underneath properly. Grim under there! Found a few bits of missing bits to toys lol. Covers off, and washed. Mostly dry now, so can go back on today. DH tightened up all of the bolts underneath, so squeaking has gone. Springs still seem ok. Life in it still. Wahoo!
32 - Box full of DDs discarded 'artwork' recycled.
DH went through toolboxes and sorted.
33- 38 - broken tools gone.
DH tried to fix a broken fan thingy. Was unable to, so..
39 - broken fan thingy into recycling
DH also went through all of his computer bits.
40-50 - random bits of rubbish to bin
Thoroughly knackered now!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Have you checked with a local shop re the price of batteries. I got some non acid ones from a car battery shop for mine a few years ago and rather than the £200+ quoted by the manufacturer they cost me £75 for both.Clutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright0 -
Hi Mrs SD. I followed the advice from the forum team with no luck. Will try clearing cookies but it was my IP address that was the problem and I can't get a reset from Vi$gin. Anyway. I will persevere with phone and work until we are away for a week and turn off all our router for longer than we can at the moment.
On a good note. I gave two bags of thing to MiL Friday for her church raffle and another to the CS this morning.
I was sorting today and worst find was a bag full of underwear. Clean but ????? I was sad to put have to put good summer stuff in the rag bag today but the shop can't store it. I have a space forthis at home. I am excited as November is coming and I can give back all the stuff I rescued in January plus our old winter clothing.
Take care and happy clearing everyone.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Been listing stuff for sale today. Hope things start moving as it's quite slow on Ebay at the moment - well it is for me. It's a slow job this sorting stuff. I am useless at it as I would rather try & sell stuff if I can. But have been putting some stuff in a CS bag.
Thanks for all the cheering on Mrs SD - a wonderful job you are doing.0 -

Saturday & Sunday have been reasonable days - mostly dry some rain usually overnight :T
Still no decluttering but the wool that DH ordered for me arrived on Saturday morning so I started the scarf that I promised to knit for one of my DH’s great nieces. Knitting feather & fan stitch & have used 100g of wool already
Saturday I raided the freezer - lo spaghetti in a creamy chicken & mushroom sauce topped with slices of mozzarella & baked for DSis. Cottage pie decorated with hg tomatoes for DH & I.
My DSis didn’t eat all hers so that is now being used as the base of an hm soup.
Sunday’s dinner was fresh penne with hm cheese sauce - cooked by my lovely DH :T
3812 - 3829 Six drinks tins, 2 glass bottles & metal caps, 3 lots of cardboard packaging, paper packaging, food can, 2 cardboard boxes, 2 small plastic pots, milk carton - Recycled

Good work on the decluttering bit by bit :T Your IP address being banned is possibly a Forum problem - both times I was banned it took the forum team 3 goes to unban my IP address.
Good luck with the listings choille. I do love cheerleading - hopefully it keeps people’s spirits up
Excellent work TC77 :T Relocating items to appropriate places does count as decluttering & can be numbered as suchWishing you & your family better health in the very near future
