The rain came about 1:00 a.m Sunday & appears to have rained solidly for several hours:( It is now very overcast & that damp chill in the air that just makes you want to wrap up & hide away. DH & DSis are still in their beds but DH has an excuse - he stayed up & watched the motorcycle races :rotfl: I am just fast forwarding through the races - watching the starts & the last 3 laps of each race whilst having my 2nd cuppa. You never know I might even do some cleaning/decluttering todayI have just changed the water & trimmed out the flowers but that is it so far :rotfl:
3597 - 3598 Two empty compost bags - Binned
Well Done TC77 :T at least you are ‘chipping away’ at your clutter :T unlike meI appear to have stalled completely
Please do not get disheartened with the chaos
you are more likely to declutter when stuff is all over the place :rotfl: I tend to get complacent when the clutter is tidy or hidden
perhaps I should throw the clutter around a bit :rotfl:
Well Done Catcrazy :T you are doing really well :T almost at 400 :j
Well Done villagelife :T decluttering plus NOT recluttering :T I admire your fortitude
Still teasing Barny1979Hopefully 1000 by the end of the month :rotfl:
See you all later - need to prep the cottage pie for tonight & tomorrow night’s dinners

Good afternoon everyone.
Have been MIA again as I've had no laptop for 3 weeks and only got it back this morning. I had been logging in on my phone, but somehow managed to log out of it and forgot my password to get back on.
Laptop all repaired now...….. hopefully, so I'm back online.
While computerless I did get a lot of de-cluttering done TBH. It has taught me that I spend way too much time online these days, so I'm limiting myself to less than an hour a day, and intend to do more around the house instead.
4 black bags off clothes were sent off to my niece's school last week, they were collecting bags of clothes again this year to raise school funds, they took duvet sets, towels etc so it was a great opportunity to have a clear out and tidy up of all those:T
Have had a good clean and hoover and tidy up of my bedroom after I lost a massive spider in it 2 weeks ago:eek: Spider found (dead) and hoovered up. Lemon has now been wipe across all doorframes and windows in the hope it stops anymore monsters coming in.
A few more books read and sent to the 2nd hand shop, currently have another bag half filled ready to be sent too.
Have managed to dispose of a lot of paperwork I came across too which was great.:T
Now sitting here sorting my laptop out, have just purchased new anti-virus software off amazon, which even better discovery is that they now email you the code for it to be done straight away, so less rubbish to dispose of also:T
Hoping to get the garden de-weeded this week again as the bins go out at the end of the week, and with very little in it ATM I'm taking advantage of filling it with things that we never get round to do lol.
Plan for the rest of the day is to have dinner, then go through the cupboards, any food still in date - but we haven't used or don't intend to use, will be donated to the food bank this week also.
I also have managed to sell a few bits on eBay this weekend, and have a few returns to post back also, so will package those up and do that tomorrow.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

Sunday’s weather improved, stayed dry & sunny - the forecast heavy rainfall never materialised :T Eventually got around to making the cottage pie - took hours but it was well worth itMy DSis doesn’t like celery so replaced with mushrooms & bulked out with red lentils, frozen peas, green beans, sweetcorn & carrots & a tin of butter beans. Enough for 2 large cottage pies plus a 3rd portion for the freezer to go with the cheesey mash already in the freezer :T It was absolutely delicious - so all 3 of us are looking forward to same again Monday night :rotfl: The only decluttering I did was programmes from my planner
