Hi,
I recognise the butterfly image. Thanks Mrs SD for encouragement. With the rooms I have to lead by example. 15 year old is grumpy and tired all the time and older one 21 prob only back temporarily but with her and boyfriend's belongings (he's at his parents) while they save for deposit. Priority is maintaining relationship with them both so my sorting my things and modelling calm and organised is aim!
350 Can't believe I've got to this heady number ! Medicines back to chemist
351 tablets to school nurse DD2
352 Foundation binned
353 ring to CS
354- 355 cardigan, belt CS
356 - 359 rubber glove, umbrella case, box, and odds and ends binned
Still getting more organised, all the bits that can on earplugs together - then can get rid of surplus,
Can't find thing and realise that missing out on things as just moving things around.

I was catching up with my YouTube videos yesterday of the people I follow and I saw a video of a home tour and I was thinking how much carp she had in her house for a single young woman.:rotfl:
I then watched some videos on minimalism and I suddenly got the urge to go through my house again and look for stuff I do not use!
To be donated to the charity shop tomorrow:
A dress.
A skirt.
A top I have never worn!
Some ballet flats.
Two sleep masks.

A toothbrush.
A cable to something that broke ages ago!:D
Old pair of trainers.

Wednesday was a lovely autumn day - sunny, bright & occasionally warm. Walked to & from the Post Office - bill returned to France  with letter advising DSis doesn’t own a house there anymore + bought loads of stamps - need to start on the C******** cards  Spent a fortuneAn hour of beautifying the Close - filled 2 garden bags with leaves & weeds - one composted & the other left for collection on Thursday. Next door but one neighbour came out & started weeding his kerbside :T When I asked if I had inspired him he said NO - I had guilt tripped him
Spent 20 minutes helping him before it got dark - he was very chatty about his family which made the time pass quickly
Bacon sarnies for lunch for DH & DSis & a large cup of the hm soup for me  Dinner was fish & chips & mixed vegetables.
Thursday has remained dry but oh so very cold 🥶 - I wore 3 layers  I did a 40 minute stint of beautifying - tidied up the area from last night & scraped away moss - all swept up generating half a garden bag of weeds etc. Then moved to our back garden where DH had put down 4 bags of compost - could barely tell the difference  I did an hard prune of an unnamed bush + thinned out some branches of our olive tree & filled an empty litre ice cream tub with olives. We will continue picking olives over the next few days & then I can start the pickling process :T
We also planted out the heather I bought in L*dl & the 2 B&Q blackberry plants + DH moved the Dahlia & finished the concreting (to support the decorative brick surround) I also paper bagged & ‘dusted’ the summer bulbs, cut down the peony plants & tidied the shed. Absolutely no idea on dinner  Problem solved - our favourite Chinese is finally open after a 2 month holiday :T
3528 - 3542 Six drinks cans, 2 glass bottles & metal caps, newspaper, plastic tray, 5 lots of cardboard packaging - Recycled
3543 - 3559 Three Bags of kitchen detritus, 6 lots of plastic packaging, pair of DH’s Sunday pants :rotfl:, pair of rubber gloves, 4 empty plastic sacks, 2 plastic bags - Binned
3560 - 3562 Three bags of garden waste - Council collection
3563 Bag of garden waste - Composted

Nice to have you back nannywindow :j Sounds like you had a lovely time on holiday & the way you are going everything will be sorted by the weekend :T Shame about having to declutter lots of penniesbut hopefully that will be it for a long while
I have to admit to a tinge of jealousy - I have never seen a tawny owl in the wild & you had 2 - you lucky thing & Mr pheasant, barking Fox & a friendly Labrador
I hope Mr pheasant wasn’t waking you up too early
Holidays go by soooo fast
& then it seems that you are waiting for the next one
Well Done Catcrazy :T especially on returning the too small shoes :T I am usually very lazy about returning goods & then end up donating to CS
Well Done on the decluttering TC77 :T Leading by example :A - Hopefully If you keep persevering the decluttering bug will infect the rest of the household :rotfl: Excellent work on the electronic decluttering :T
Well Done villagelife :T keeping the numbers moving in the right direction :T
