Nice breakfast - not too much. Left the hotel 10:17, stopped for petrol then drove off to our 1st landmark- a Coastguard Hut in Mynydd Mawr. The sun tried to emerge for about 10 minutes but was defeated by the clouds, fog & rain :( Single track road & gusting winds but even they couldn’t clear the clouds :( Next stop was the Tearoom at Porthmadog - unfortunately no steam train :( Next was an Iron Foundry near Machynlleth & lastly a closed tearoom @ Stackpole Quay.
It rained, was foggy & windy for most of the day but at 14:42 the sun mad3 an appearance for 30 seconds, then some blue sky @ 15:17 & finally some sun & warmth about 15:25 for about 2 minutes :rotfl: The blue skies disappeared & it went back to grey, overcast & damp :(

    Roll call of animals/birds seen:
Tuesday: cows, sheep, horses, a rabbit, sparrows, ravens, mallards, coots, a swan & 2 unidentified ducks :D. RIP a badger :(
Wednesday: cows, sheep, horses, ponies, a hawk, chickens, sparrows, ravens, jackdaws & 3 dozen juvenile pheasants & a dragon (Wooden of course :rotfl:) :T RIP a squirrel :(
Thursday: cows, sheep, horses, ponies, a squirrel, sparrows, ravens, jackdaws, magpies, a robin, 4 dragons (Plastic this time :rotfl:) & an huge eagle (Wooden of course:rotfl:). RIP rabbit, squirrel, hedgehog :(:(:(

Strangest road sign - Beware kayakers in road :rotfl:

We are in Carmarthen staying in a hotel that doesn’t serve dinner :( So showered & changed & went for a wander :D Found a lovely Italian restaurant - Florentines with a menu to die for :D so walked in & tried to get a table. We were sadly disappointed as we didn’t have a booking & they were fully booked :( Yah, boo, sucks :rotfl: Tried 2 pubs which stated they served food - did they b*gg*ry  Ended up in a W*th*rsp**ns & had a Curry which was tasty enough & cheap. We went in hungry & left not hungry ;)

Well Done Catcrazy :T you have broken through the ‘100’ barrier :T

Wednesday2000 - woo-hoo to stopping the migraines :T & well Done on the ‘using up’ :T

Shame Siebrie’s ideas aren’t feasible for you nannywindow :( You can afford to treat yourself to a few days off after finishing a major project like replacing fence panels ;) so please look after yourself - sending healing vibes your way ;)

Oh TamsinC :( Hopefully the buyer will be blacklisted & you will have more success 2nd time around - fingers crossed 🤞

    Well Done oceanspirit & Barny1979 - still decluttering :T

See you all tomorrow with more tales of travel in Wales :p

Thanks for encouragement, and motivating to see others decluttering.

villagelife - you're so right about going back over areas and ocean spirit I used marie konda a couple of years ago - I mk a chest of drawers - still wonderfully tidy as only use the underwear drawer with 90% of the rest undisturbed!!

I was about to count a few things again as hadn't quite got into the CS bag! must be more careful.
39- 45 old make up bin and found nail varnishes so painted toenails for first time for a over a year (a tough year)
    46 trainers CS
    47-50 books to library
    51 binned old dish cloths
    52-53 CDs back to owners

A few things on freecycle but won't count til out the door!

Only recycling done again, still it’s maintenance. So when I remember what number I was up to I need to add 10 items per day. We easily do that if not more.

MrsSD this will be the third time time! First buyer won the auction and then tried to pay less.

Today we are off to visit puppies to see if we want to add more dog clutter to our house. I think we are mad. I also have been waxing a new oak door for our sitting room, painting a few more of those windows, deceived DS to a pet sitting job,and bought a large Welsh dresser which I need to arrange collection for. It’s all go.

I dont post much - partly due to a tremor in my hands - and partly due to a husband who informed me when I was decluttering that he 'likes clutter' - what can you do. Recycling done every week and some stuff to charity shops, but not much. I try not to see everything around. We moved into his mother's house in 2013 to look after his mother who couldn't manage any longer and was on her last legs - she and us are still here - so we merged 2 households. I read every post, sometimes a little enviously.

Hubby said yesterday that we must get rid of some stuff this autumn/winter once the nights draw in. I reminded him that he said that we'd declutter ther garage once the better weather came and we've not done it!

Anyway I take that as a chance to get rid of stuff. He hates throwing/giving/selling anything 'in case it hurts their feelings' :rotfl: I even have an old mobility scooter, which I replaced earlier in the year with a motorised wheelchair and car hoist.

Enjoy your decluttering :T (lucky people)

I also managed to declutter a vase that I actually liked and used. I knocked it off the shelf in the understair cupboard
You have my sympathy, CEW. I've just knocked over and broken a baking dish that I liked. :(

Other than that I've cut back a plant that had finished flowering, emptied two bottles of milk that went off while we were away for a couple of days and chucked out some oats that were well past their best-before and smelled stale. :( Also chucked a charger cable that no longer works.

    New total 1,447.
