Update from the weekend. Well I didn't get as much done as I was hoping to but I did go through my wardrobe and identified a lot of items that can go. Not sure how many items but I will check when I bag them up. At the moment they are all just in a big pile on the bed in my spare room. I will add them to my list when I actually get rid of them.

Items that have been decluttered are

2 pairs of boots - binned, beyond repair
Washing machine - on drive waiting for scrapie to collect
Packaging from new washing machine - recycled
Polystyrene from new washing machine - Binned
Cardboard box from garden table - recycled
Packaging from online deliveries - recycled
Butter knife - binned, seen better days
Cardigan, damaged by old washing machine - binned

I think that's all except for half a tooth that came out when I was eating a salmon fish cake of all things. Have made an appointment to declutter some pennies next week at the dentist

I don't feel so bad now considering half of the weekend was wiped out due to fatigue.

Back soon hopefully with more updates

68 several old notes by DH (e.g telephone numbers etc ) copied into address book and paper into shredder ,then bin.
69 - 95 stationery items into box for CS.
    96-97 notebooks into dd1 room.
Well done Uncluttered , especially for your work keeping Scotland Beautiful.

    Hello :hello:
Well the sun is out so more garden decluttering has started as we are still clearing the ground ready for fence panels. This time it's stones and bricks of all sizes . I don't know where they've come from (they must have been hiding :rotfl: ) but I'm hoping to declutter them in the garden somewhere rather than take them to the tip  , because they are too heavy to lift into the car when in a bucket.
I've also decluttered the washing basket (the contents of- not the actual basket !) and a home made pasty for lunch :D.

    Hugs to all

    nan xx

I binned a bottle of tippex, another air freshener and another broken dog toy. Lots of cardboard packaging put into recycling, bottles to recycling.

My dog ripped a hole in the faux leather bean bag, beans went everywhere! It had to be thrown away.

I decluttered some dust while sweeping and found a lot more beans!:rotfl:

I have lost count how many bags and other stuff has gone now but will round up to 60 bags and 10 large items.:T:j:T

    Hi,
Decided to join you and aim for 1000 items in the remainder of the year. Inspired by some of the posts.
    1- 5 books
6-7 thick unused tea towel like clothes (freecycle)
    8 dishwasher tablets (FC)
    9 - 15 mini laundry packets
    16 squeezy mop sponge
17-22 other laundry things and dodgy container

Trying not to rest on my laurels and keep going!

1791 - 1833 recycling done, mainly more paper decluttering
1834 - an unused purse to CS box
1835 - 1840 plants out of the garden sold
1841 - a mass of weeds and cuttings etc onto the bonfire pile
1842 - 1850 - tidied off the top of my new dumping ground, a bad bad habit to have, and now hopefully broken, and various items to the bin or recycling
1850 - 1890 normal recycling done, tins mainly today

Today was spent helping a neighbour with computer issues and so didn’t have too much chance to do loads of decluttering, at least that is my excuse and I am sticking to it :D . The garden is getting a fair bit of attention with the good weather, especially as it’s meant to be cack next week. This garden was incredibly over grown and over stuffed with trees and shrubs when we moved in and so we are getting rid of a good 75% of them in order to open the garden up and allow those plants kept to thrive. It’s amazing how much space we are creating. I’ve also got a few more things to list on eBay but will count those either when they sell or I give up and give them to the CS.
