Not really decluttering, but I sewed 100 heart charms onto 100 organza bags filled with natural confetti for a friends wedding I will be unable to go to. Popped in a box and going to the post office tomorrow.

Does that count as 201 items decluttered?:rotfl::rotfl:

Evening Mrs SD and fellow declutterers, yes our daughter has had an influence in the decor of her bedroom. One wall will have unicorn wallpaper and the remaining walls will be pink. Carried on with the clear out in her room yesterday., filled two bags of clothing she had grown out of. One for the charity shop and one for the tip. More decluttering in her room to do tomorrow.

    That felt good.

Finished up: face mask, body lotion, face cream
Binned: medicine cases and a variety of bits and bobs.
Recycled: paper, envelopes, receipts, food containers and cardboard around food.

    Had a strange week
    Friday 19th - got a new p/t job
Tuesday 23rd - informed work of new job - wanted to reduce hours in current job (waiting to hear if this is possible) so I could do both jobs.
Wednesday 24th - hubby had a stroke - spent all day in hospital with him, worried out of my head.
Thursday 25th - Ran around like a headless chicken in the morning before visiting time. Hubby came out of hospital. Saw consultant. He had a heart flutter on the Tuesday (regular heart beat that every now and then becomes rapid). This meant that not all the blood was pumped out of the heart - clot formed - was then pumped out of the heart up to the brain. Clot gets lodged - blocks oxygen supply - hey presto a stroke. Please if anyone has an irregular beat please get it checked out.
48 hours later - hubby is doing really well, making improvements all the time. Left side dropped. Very short term memory is affected. He is now like a women going through menopause. I said to him welcome to my world - I use to have a sharp brain.
Tomorrow - giving BIL three jars of strawberry jam (they went on a mini cruise, partner became ill, ended up spending three week overseas and missed all of their strawberries); giving three jars of strawberry to Mother - went away during strawberry season plus field mice and birds were eating them.
    That's all for now folks.

Gem Gem I was so sorry to read about your troubles. I shall send you and your DH copious gentle hugs. I hope he makes a full recovery. I feel your pain, I really do as my DH was such a gentle soul too, now he's constantly on edge . He is also going through similar problems, but it's because of his cancer meds.

    love nan xx

Gem-Gem - hope hubby makes a very swift recovery.

    What a week you've had.
  • I am asking for help from you lovely people. Many years ago (15 - 20 ish) I sold just a few items on Eb.. and they had a little stand alone programme on which you could list all your items on your computer, a few at a time, and then when you were ready to actually sell, it would give some selling costs etc. Well of course I cannot remember what it was called so, as I am STILL trying to de-clutter big time, I am taking photos of stuff, about 20 paperweights at the moment, using the EB,, search thing to see if they have any similar so I can see what the special names are as I have no idea and approx prices etc. I am also using the free Goog.. phot scan which takes sort of all round type piccies so I have good pics and information to put on the site. All I need is to list them as I go along as I want to upload them all in one go _ I am really determined to get to grips with this. I cannot find the programme, contacted EB.. and they told me about one on the seller side of things but when I d/l it, it is just a ready made Xcel spreadsheet. No-were as good. Anyone know what I am talking about please??? How do you sellers sort out your listings? Really really need help to get on with this, got mum's bone chine etc etc to do as well. Thank you very much.

You can crreate drafts that can be listed later on. When creating the listing you press 'save for later' instead of 'list'.

But I have only ever used that method not used a programme.
  • Hello, I haven't been on MSE for sooooo long - I've lost touch with where to find things...

I am in the process of decluttering and have found some dusty old stuff in the loft....

I have a brochure and labels from Vintage Cash Cow - does anyone have any experience of this company - good or bad - or is there another thread/forum you could direct me to?

    Many thanks :) FFM
