    Evening all
My pull out baskets are now installed in another cupboard so i now have 3 shelves instead of 2.This has enabled me to put crisps and snacks on 1 and bread and eggs on another clearing one of my worktops:j Looks so much better.
I still have 2 nice curver boxes on a worktop.one for things that can go to TerraCycle and the other for plastic that isn't currently recyclable which i take to Morrison's every week not overly pretty but decided thats a small price to pay to prevent it going to landfill.
Few more things put to one side for when i do a tip run.
Encouraging my girls to take a few of there bits home with them every time they visit:rotfl:

Wednesday has been another very warm day but not quite as sunny as yesterday. The only person who did anything today was my DH - bought 125kg of compost & also did a Tip run. We had several lots of bird old delivered & managed to find storage containers for all 30kg  - we do love our birdies :rotfl: My contribution to decluttering was having a lovely relaxing bath :rotfl: Lunch was pork sandwich for DH, bacon sandwich for DSis & a mug of hm soup for me. We went out for dinner - American BBQ restaurant. When DH booked he could only get a table for 6 p.m. or 9 p.m. - one too early & the other too late so we went for the early sitting - good business model as they let you have the table for 2 hours :T Unfortunately too spicy for DSis although she did at least try everything - so she had the bowl of chips & DH ended up eating 1.75 dinners - I stuck to Caesar salad with a portion of BBQ chicken (have half left for tomorrow :T) All 3 of us ordered a dessert but DSis only had a mouthful of hers so DH ended up with 2 desserts - waffle & ice cream with chocolate sauce & a marshmallow fondue with little gingerbread men - a real sugar high :rotfl: I had banana cream pie & very tasty it was too  There was also live music & I had a Long Island Iced Tea, together with a beer & lots of water - felt quite virtuous :rotfl: DSis was rather disappointed with her strawberry milk shake - but that might be because she now drinks lacto free milk ;) Bus home & coffee in the garden until it got a bit too chilly to stay out ;)

1576 - 1582 Three drinks cans, 2 lots of cardboard packaging, 2 large cardboard boxes - Recycled
1583 - 1585 Bag of kitchen detritus, plastic packaging, piece of polystyrene packaging - Binned
1586 - 1595 Two large plastic bird food bins (both damaged), 2 plastic bags, 6 large bird food sacks - Tip

Well Done Wednesday2000 :T you young devil you :rotfl:

Well Done chocolatelover93 :T both on the decluttering & the weight loss :T keep up the good work ;)

How generous Happy Kitties :T I also applaud you for not having to spend any money because you freed up a storage box :T

Wow, Barny1979 - it is true :p - plastic bags breed :rotfl: judging by the number you have evicted from your home :rotfl:

Well Done choille :T you are powering ahead

I am rather jealous never too old ;) but as I don’t like feeling jealous :p I just went into the kitchen & did a quick clear up of work surfaces - you were right, never too old - it does look better plus I feel better ;) I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ for encouraging your girls to take some of their ‘stuff’ home every time they visit - Well Done :T

Thanks for the info wort :T

    See you all tomorrow

  • Afternoon all

Had to give in and take a huge bundle of coat hangers to the tip :(
I am sorting my wardrobe out and changing all hangers to uniform slim line ones.Sad thing is no one takes coathangers for recycling and i had no takers on giving them away.

Would the chazzer not take them? It's always difficult to see perfectly useful things going to the tip when there are no takers!

Happy days:) With some sorting I did free up the container to put DDs smellies in which has meant thru decluttering i am a container plus contents less as the container will go back with DD to uni.

DD also finally had her wardrobe clear out after realising she couldn't get her new clothes in with the old! So today

*211-239 clothes and shoes x29 to CS
*240 BN ethernet cable to CS
    *241-246 clothes+rags to rag bank
    A successful day :)

A beautiful summer’s day :D wall to wall sunshine, blue sky with wispy clouds, hot but with a cooling breeze. DH & DSis did a small shop, DSis went & voted (DH & I avail ourselves of postal voting ;)).
Prior to that DH & I we’re busy in the garden. DH jet washed the garden box & it is now in its final resting place :rotfl: All the bird food is now in one box, nearer the feeders :T I did the morning watering & changed the water in the birds bowls & have just done the evening watering. Various pots both empty & full, moved to new locations. The 2nd garden box was also moved. DH put up our parasol & put up a small bird table affixed to the side of the shed. The garden is so much tidier now. With a couple more days sunshine hopefully the unidentified plants will bloom & we can find out what we planted - I was a ‘div’ & forgot to label when we planted the bulbs :p DSis had a salad for lunch & DH & I had hm soup with ciabatta. Dinner was chicken pieces cooked in bacon fat with boiled potatoes & sweetcorn - Apparently my DSis’s favourite meal :D It was delicious 🤤

1596 - 1607 Five drinks cans, 2 lots of plastic air-packaging, large cardboard box, food can, small plastic bottle, leaflets, empty beer can - Recycled
1608 - 1610 Bag of kitchen detritus, 2 lots of plastic packaging - Binned
1611 Rusted wall mounted garden trough - Tip

Well Done Barny1979 & Happy Kitties :T still decluttering :T

What a shame never too old :(
