Hi everyone, finally done some more decluttering - took a bag of confidential work papers from my self employment into my day job and shredded them during lunch break; took a bag of about 20 items to the CS yesterday; threw away a lipstick after trying for a third time to convince myself I like it - I don't so in the bin it has gone....
DD1 is off down south to visit family so she's taking a top I bought from CS and a magazine i've read plus some easter goodies to my lovely sis:)
Am collecting stuff for a Car Boot sale hoping to do in a few weeks....

Anyone know where I could sell a fur coat? It's too good to dispose of & someone would probably pay for it. It's a late Auntie's.0

I went through my toiletries and makeup drawer (again) and threw away a few things. I bought a new eyeshadow palette so I got rid of the old ones. One palette I've had for years!:o
I have a face mask that I can't use on my face so it will go on my feet at night with fluffy socks instead.:) I seem to be very sensitive to face masks lately.:(
I sent off some paperwork yesterday so I looked through the admin drawer and threw away some old vet bills and various other odds and ends.
I keep telling my husband to just put the papers we don't need into the recycling bin straight away!
De-cluttered 2 jars of Seitan today - the meat eaters thought it was beef, but it's vegetarian. Made a nice pie.
I have bought that a couple of times and my animals go nuts for it. They can't tell it's not meat at all.:rotfl:0 -
Dropping in to report 5 bags IN yesterday from my Dsis's house but 3 went out again today to the CS. One is full of DVDs which I shall sell online and one was mixed so distributed to the other bags.
Last night I threw all the bags of clothes of DS2 who moved out a month ago downstairs. There are 12 bags. Today he is to go though them and sort what he wants to keep. I am going to recomend 5 of most items and 10 T shirts. There must be 10 coats which is fine except he hasn't worn some of them for years.
Been working in the CS this morning. People are of course clearing out their winter stuff, including hats and scarves. I have bought a load home to wash and store in the loft for winter as they are going to the rag man.:( I know it still makes them money but not as much but they don't have the space to store it.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. I've had this problem in the past, and they're very difficult to sell. You could try ebay if you're prepared to ship abroad as furs are still popular in properly cold countries.
In the end the cat slept on mine for years - it was always difficult to spot her on it as she blended in so well!0 -

I sold an old fur coat a long time ago on the b@y, not before I received some "rude" emails from animal rights folk. Eb@y said just to ignore and keep listed, and it sold quite quickly, thank goodness.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
In the middle of "room of doom" atm, just stopped for a :coffee: but sorting going all right for the moment, huge task, but bit by bit - getting there, so much stuff I had forgotten about
kept thinking I could get £ for this and that on the b@y but now mortgage is gone, I didn't need it all, and truthfully cannot be @rs**, so CS will benefit
. Just need to phone them to come round for it all.
Still got the CS bag to fill, but determined to fill before collection in the morning.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Afternoon all...
First of all the good news. The attic is looking a lot tidier now. One large bag of rubbish thrown in the wheelie bin along with two large bags of cardboard for recycling and a large bag of fabric which has now gone to the tip. I have been taking pictures of the change in the attic since Christmas, it helps the motivation when you can see a room starting to regain its character again.
The bad news, only £1.50 worth of stuff sold at the car boot today. A Wooly and Tig toy and some small toy charms. Need to have a rethink here on what to do. The entry fee is £10 each week, it could have been just one of those weeks...hey ho. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.0 -

Excellent news on the loft being in such good shape :j, pity about the boot sale.
Just remember, someone's junk is another's treasure, be sure to take all saleable goods,
and sorry to say this, but crafters, patchwork quilters, dolls house makers, or such, may
just have taken a fancy to your fabric.
