Yesterday I wrote, addressed, noted posting dates & weighed the birthday cards for August, September & October :T Next month will see me doing the same for November, December & January 2020 :j No chance of forgetting anyone’s birthday :rotfl: & less stressful doing it all over a 4 month period :j
Today the weather has been mostly nice with a couple of showers but no wind :T DH found a couple more bits for the Tip bag & has also sealed & painted the first coat on another section of the garage floor. Now treating himself to a bath
I have finally listed the contents of my 2 freezers & fully cleaned & rearranged my kitchen fridgeThe only item I had to bin was some melted goose fat  Hm steak, kidney & mushroom pie with mash & mixed vegetables for tonight’s dinner. Delicious 😋
782 - 785 Glass bottle, glass jar, metal lid, magazine - Recycled

Waggy fingerA Frayed Knot - you have done very well :T No such thing as small steps
you are either a declutterer or not :rotfl: and YOU ARE A DECLUTTERER A Frayed Knot :T Please know that should the momentum stall we are all here to encourage each other or give a kick up the ‘arris :rotfl:
Well Done parsniphead :T Now that you have tidied, the decluttering will be a lot easier
Excellent cheerleading oceanspirit :T A great analogy - “chipping away” - :T Whatever works for us individually is well worth the effort & if truth be known if we find a method that works for us it is not actually an effort :rotfl:
Well Done whmf00001 :T
More pennies in the pot choille - Well Done :T

Emptied the garage today (used signs of mouse activity as justification to do it thoroughly as my handyman has a tendency to take the east option otherwise).
Van load of rubbish and ply/mdf offcuts, broken greenhouse glass etc sent to tip,
my car filled for CS drop off this week,
bin nearly full,
recycling bin full
Friend who is moving shortly filled her car with cardboard boxes.
Rest of stuff put back in garage tidily so I can find stuff and there is space so I can start painting the dining room furniture.0 -
Many thanks for all the encouragement Mrs SD it is so appreciated.
I'm not getting much done but much more than I have in the past - small steps.0 -
I've just typed a long message and lost it.:mad::mad:
Anyway I've spent the day in the spare room and have a boot full of stuff for the charity shop, a pile for the tip and some stuff recycled/ binned.
I've always struggled throwing away DS's stuff as I get too sentimental but those blinkers dropped away today faced with the massive pile of toys going back to birth. He is seven now.....it's a big pile and not all of his toys, just the ones dumped in the spare room.
Anyway, weather permitting, tomorrow morning the stuff will be dumped at the charity shop and then I will carry on. I would really like to get this room completed tomorrow so I can carry on with front room for the rest of the week.
I must admit it feels so good going through this process. Frustrating and difficult but good. I'm determined to never again get into this mess. I can only imagine how calm my home will feel when done and how much extra time I will have.
I hope you are all getting on well.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Hi Guys,
I haven't posted for a few weeks but I do have things to report.
- Sorted a bin liner full of rubbish in the loft
- Sorted through some old paperwork in the loft and now have a large bag full to take to work for when the shredding company next come in
- Sorted everything off the very top of the cupboards in the kitchen, mostly recycled or returned to proper place
- Listed 3 items on facebook marketplace, had enquiries but no commitment yet
I am getting some major refurb done on my house, so motivated to continue decluttering now, although also feels overwhelming at the same time.0 -

Taken photos of some of Mum's glass/china ready to try putting on EB..
When had to lose Win7 for Win10 I lost my JASC photo software, loved it, and cannot download agin, it want Coral, so am having to learn how to use Google Photo software - not easy at my age. Had to check with dd that she did not want them, shame but they are "china cabinet" stuff really, once I am proficient I will start putting the wine glasses etc on.0
