GreenQueen, motivational quotes, do tell :D

Nothing very structured or formal, just like to write down things when I see them, and then lose them!

Read something the other day that referred to their system for sorting incoming mail as a Chronological Random Ascending Pile (think about it:think:)!

    Hello all,

What a day!!! DD3 (disabled) had a big meltdown this Morning. She was kicking me and didn't want to dress up. She's 16 and as tall as me so I can't do anything. I rang the taxi who spoke to her, and she calmed down a bit.
Then I went to Lidl to buy lunch for DD4. After that I headed to Paris to declutter DD4 in the train to DD1's home!

I'm back home now and I need to catch up on washing and decluttering.

I have a question: Do you buy fresh milk? I read many diaries and each time I see: "I need to top up in milk"

Hi All, Sorry not to have been in a while. Sadly my big sister passed awayon Friday having been ventilated in intesive care all week.:cry: She had fallen over a rug and broken a bone at her ankle 4 weeks ago now and it was clot from this that went to her lungs and heart.

I am not telling you this for sympathy but to encourage you all to carry on with the decluttering and reduce the risk of such things happening but also to live life not just for tomorrow but also today.

Because of the decluttering efforts I had made over the weekend prior to last Monday my house was tidy (er/ish) and all I needed to do was change the towels and bedding to welcome family in. I would have been so stressed if I hadn't.

I had emergency money saved for such a happening so no stress there.

We have now come to start sorting papers to find a will we don't think is there but most of her most recent stuff is in order. It has been a lot easier as her partner is in bits. As chief coper I am helping him. I don't mind but am happier that we could put our hands on some important stuff. We are yet to find birth certificate and deed from when she changed her name and will. We will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Take care and keep well my MSE friends.

bit by bit I'm really sorry to hear about your sister and in such awful circumstances.
Sometimes I think we all take life too much for granted and it just goes to show how precious it is.
Sending big hugs and I promise to keep decluttering to keep the faith.
    Take care x

Sorry to hear about your loss bit by bit. You're right to remind us all to keep going and live life to the full. It's easy to get bogged down and take it all for granted.

I took one bag of books to the charity shop on Saturday and one today and I filled a charity bag with clothes that will be collected from the doorstep tomorrow. I usually make the effort to take them to the shops myself but I've got lots bagged up ready to go at the moment and no car so I feel like I need a bit of help otherwise it'll take forever!

Reading through this thread, I found myself up to page 7, thinking I'll be joining by the time I got to the last page, only to pause when I found a new email received . . .

    It was from Ike@ and said . . .
