I've been tidying / organising rather than decluttering so nothing to add to my total. In fact had to retrieve something I'd decluttered earlier in the week. I'd thrown away a couple of chargers but then noticed the one for my light wand was missing - so had to go rummaging in the bin. I threw away an old sponge so I'm still at 234.
I'm pleased with the results of my tidying / organising - it allows me to see the fruits of my decluttering and DP's decorating. :AShifting my energy for 20200 -

Bought 2 pkts of red lentils, going to try using more pulses, so have decanted into washed out milk cartons so they store more easily. 2 more books put on Freegle site, found out some solar lights to put in garden - had them ages and forgot, lost in clutter, then ordered a new one and gs said I had some already so am returning new one. Gs insisted he could take SM for daddy to look at so that has been re-located to dd house, hopefully it will be fixes and will then return or they will throw away. Found under cupboard sticky up lights so they are now in the dark spots. Its not much but every little helps0

I have the bag for the recycling made up. I put in the socks, the boots, the tea towels, three dresses, two tops and put in two jumpers that went weird in the washing!
My husband is going through his wardrobe now so they will be more to add.:cool:0 -
Had a surprisingly good day of decluttering yesterday! DD has let go of 4 large bags of toys and games. I used the carrot of a LOL doll. I hate them but she had saved up her money and it was well worth it to get rid of so much stuff!
Her room is much easier to tidy now.Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%
Overpayments - £48829.37 :j:j:j

Afternoon all, 2nd week of car booting with our daughter. She does like it, it might be a regular weekly thing. Anyhow, sold £16 worth of attic stuff (books, toys, mattress protectors) and did make enough to cover the costs of turning up. The profit - £6 - will be our daughter's pocket money for next week as she has seen a good story book she wants to buy. The other £10 will go in the family pot. Taking part in the penny a day challenge on MSE so that gives the pot a boost. Will be doing a declutter of the attic this month to work out what can be given to charity, car boot, and the tip. Onwards and upwards....0

Hi guys, just checking in after a few weeks of absence from me, I was away on a business trip and have had some crap to deal with since then so not done much decluttering. I have however this weekend sorted through a bag of old paperwork that I will take to work ready for when the shredding company next come in.0

I’ve have tackled the top of the desk in the office/sewing room/exercise room. It had a hideous amount of stacks of paperwork that needs to be filed/shredded or tossed. I have been working on it a little at a time and significant progress has been made. Problem is, as I have been looking through everything, a lot of resentful feeling are re-emerging. You see my husband inherited property, stock, money, mineral rights etc that he has made sure neither my name or any of my children’s name are on as a beneficiary. Only his daughter....and we have been married 31 yrs. My youngest was 15 months old when we married. It’s gut wrenching.Overprepare, then go with the flow.
