Thanks to this thread I have some money to help get through this crisis. I am fortunate I work for the NHS and am not front line. My pot may well go to my son who is self employed. I'll just take it of any money he may get when we pass away

I've been off the forum for a while due to personal issues, but continued adding peanuts to my savings pot...

Really glad I've put some money aside, gives me some comfort during these hard times. I've been lucky not to be furloughed (for now), so I will pause mortgage overpayments and any unnecessary shopping for the next few months and save save save.

I wish everyone well with their own personal goals.
Even if it's not possible for many to add to right now, it's so comforting to know there's an emergency fund for times like this .2 -
