Thanks to this thread I have some money to help get through this crisis. I am fortunate I work for the NHS and am not front line. My pot may well go to my son who is self employed.  I'll just take it of any money he may get when we pass away B)

    Stay Safe

I've been off the forum for a while due to personal issues, but continued adding peanuts to my savings pot...
    #9 £5,400/£7,200
Really glad I've put some money aside, gives me some comfort during these hard times. I've been lucky not to be furloughed (for now), so I will pause mortgage overpayments and any unnecessary shopping for the next few months and save save save.

Stay safe and carry on saving peeps!!

  • # 31 checking in with final total.
I've managed to reach my goal of  £3000 / £3000.
I wish everyone well with their own personal goals.
Even if it's not possible for many to add to right now, it's so comforting to know there's an emergency fund for times like this .

Is it too late to join this challenge? I'm looking to save £18000 for my E/F.  Currently at £1234 so a long way to go.
