I was just wondering what brands people swear by? We are all on here to save money but sometimes the brand really is the best way to go!
An example from me is Nespresso - I have started using L'or capsules for decaf, but except that Nespresso is the best blends I can find. Hoping to move onto a ground coffee espresso machine but Nespresso's subscription offer is brilliant and it means I don't drink coffee out!
Anybody else?

loo roll - the cheap stuff is thin, nasty and dusty. Much of the mid range stuff is passable, but often works out more expense than Cushelle or Andrex bought on offer at Costco.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Teabags - has to be PG Tips or Typhoo, but I usually wait until they're on offer for < 1p/bag.
I tried Tesco Value tea once and it wasn't nice.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Kellogg’s cornflakes are the one thing that we don’t do without.
I’ve found swaps for everything else but not those.

Not a brand as such, but "real" bread from one of the bakers in my town, one of them has been trading for 150 years and the other since 1943, lovely tasty bread and a great selection to choose from. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0

Fairy washing powder/liquids & blue Comfort.
I did used to only buy Heinze baked beans, til a friend made some Lidl beans up adding fried onions & smoked paprika. I now buy 4Ldi or T beans & do the same - so tasty!0 -
Head and Shoulders, Coca-Cola or Pepsi-Cola (the proper stuff with sugar in it), Yorkshire Tea, HP Sauce, Tampax, Warburton's crumpets and Fairy dishwasher tabs.

probably coffee - i normally get coffee from a roastery like roundhill or hasbean rather than supermarket coffee where it is often not clear where they are from or when they were roasted0

Coffee, that I buy from Monmouth's. And I buy expensive tea because I drink it black and can taste the difference - apologies to Owain but I wouldn't give houseroom to typhoo or pg tips.0
