Delurking to ask you to add me in for £320 this month. I'm starting with what I hope is a manageable cut on our existing spends. I'm also trying out an experiment of having just one delivery of the main shopping for the month then working on topping up with fresh for the remaining weeks. (I seem to have broken the colour text while editing!)0

Another NSD day yesterday :T
Not been out of the house since Christmas day, apart from when OH took me down the Dr on Monday and I was diagnosed with pneumonia. So consequently not eating much, which does help with the budget quite a bit. ....keep getting a fancy for lemon sorbet though,:rotfl: which luckily I have in the freezer.
So still on £0/£200This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi all,
I would like to rejoin (for the umpteenth time) but really need to stick with it. I have had a bad few months so I need to get back in the game.
My husband died in November so there's just me, 3 kids (one unfillable ds with ASD) and 2 cats. Not sure how being a man down will affect the budget or if I'll be able to cook from scratch as much now but I'm hoping to stick to £65 per week for food, toiletries, cleaning and washing stuff and cat food. We'll see how it goes.
Good to be back on the boards.
Vicky x

NSD today. I have been to the doctors for a blood tests and I'm going to the hairdressers this afternoon. That should keep me out of trouble and out of shops although I might call into the proper greengrocers to see if they have anything good.0 -

Thanks. I had it several years ago and it left me with weakened lungs and I seem to get chest infections a lot since. But this one just went that little bit to far. Luckily I think, not quite as bad as when I had it before, but still making me feel lousy. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
