Hello :hello:
Happy Christmas Eve everyoneStill can't quite believe that I've made it and that I'm still feeling pretty good. The stress of previous years seems long gone.
However, dd is still unwell. She's been sickly and with heartburn for a few days now, so I went up to the pharmacy for 8am to get her some gavisc0n. Seems to be helping but I still can't get her to eat very much at all. A few chicken goujons at lunch, and a hot chocolate this afternoon. I've made burgers for dinner but she's not interested at the moment.
Relaxing morning in front of the telly, then popped to bestie's house for a couple of hours. We're now home for the evening, door is locked. We're about to do baths and open our Christmas Eve box (it's a home made one so no extra cost) so we'll have some new nightwear and snacks for the night ahead. I'm shattered so hoping for another early night.
I am fairly certain I'm going to be on here at some point tomorrow - but just in case - I hope that everyone has a very happy day, whatever you're up to.Not giving up

Merry Wotnot Decemberbest Devotees,
Morning!:coffee: I awoke early to the sound of DW being randomly ill.And she has had no alcohol...it's not a hangover. So not sure whether we'll delay the festive food until tomorrow.
Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Four:
* Check online banking. Done.
* I might go for a long cycle later if DW can be left alone.
* More later...

Evening everyone, and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays etc.
Ally - hope that your dw is feeling better now.
I have had a lovely day making new traditions with my kids. They seem very grateful for their presents, and we spent the afternoon at my sister's house where we had dinner and a really good time. I am pleased to be home and in my jammies, but I've had a really nice day.
Hope that everyone else has enjoyed the festivities.Not giving up

Hello
Merry Christmas/happy holidays to you all :A
My ds & dd have now left for the day. The day was good, we hung out, opened presents, played with said presents, ate a massive roast and of course wine and Baileys were freely flowing!
Today was the first Christmas day we have spent together in maybe 8 years! Glad everyone had the Christmas spirit, which meant there was lots of laughter and fun throughout the day.
I got so many gifts, my dd is very generous. Madam got tons! ds got me a sewing gauge and a tiny pair of friskars (a make of sewing scissors). Really excited to start using them tomorrow. Think I will make an hour to sew tomorrow morning :j I have 3 paid for jobs to do :money:
Have now made my famous Christmas dinner soup with los, portioned up and will freeze when cooled. That will keep me going through to the end of FebHave also portioned up lo portions of braised red cabbage.
That's me then. Hope you've all felt love & joy today xDF as at 30/12/16

Merry Wotnot Decemberbest Devotees,
Evening! :beer: DW rallied and was up and ok-ish at 10am which was a blessed relief.
Thanks for your wishes everyone.
Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Four:
* Make ourselves a a 3 course meal. Eat the courses at 11am, 4pm and 8pm so as not to be overwhelmed by gluttony. Done.
* I might go for a long cycle later if DW can be left alone. Didn't go. Too tired.
* Entertained ourselves with ballet and comedy on the tv. Done.
* Exchange a few modest gifts. Done. I have a new snorkel mask, some wee bike accessories and a book about natural history. DW has a new bag for her camera and some 'everyday' things that she wanted.
