Ah South East House prices, such fun! I am in Hampshire so can commiserate. We were going to put our house on the market at the beginning of May, not happening now, and I think there will definitely be a slight dip in prices.

It's so expensive and tricky for single people without parental help to buy!

Oh yes! I am tempted to move to somewhere far cheaper and by the coast, alas where do I go and what do I do for work?
A friend was going to go self employed beginning of May, he has decided not to! Good luck with the house sale when you can finally get it on the market x

Yes we were so lucky to buy back in 2001, getting on the ladder back then was relatively easy. When we do sell it won't matter to us if prices are lower, our mortgage is pretty low and all prices will fall. But may end up with less on the market due to negative equity and people staying put.

2001, I was too busy dancing the night away to think about buying a home :( how little did we know that home prices would sky rocket, a friend brought his 5 bedroom house in 1995 in Acton for £135,000 now its worth a million!

Final pay day, from here on it its either Universal credit or that 80% furlonged scheme...
Paid the usual week rent amount, a weeks Council Tax, water, mobile phone, gas direct debt will come out on 5th and broadband later in the month along with netflix. Elect will top up later I have more than enough on there at the moment, might pop a tenner on in case.

    Debts paid:
    Westcott - £5.00 - balance £2,925.00
    Intrum - £1.00 - balance £3,036.00
Awaiting for this months payment to pop up on the credit card, so bloody annoying this Corona Virus. I had it all worked out to snowball the debts, now I have no idea what monies I will be getting and don't want to put £60.00 onto the credit card in case I can't meet the min payment when that is due, so I am awaiting the card to up date, if that makes sense.

@Starbrite I am really enjoying your diary!

You are doing such a good job of clearing your debts and consistently, which is my biggest downfall! Starting off with all the good intentions and the “plan” then I get distracted by unnecessary wants haha rather than essentials. You have inspired me to make my own.

Good luck with the rest of your journey

Thank you @hiyaimtel, means so much, that I have inspired someone and helped them to start the marathon.
It is so hard not to be distracted by shinning and pretty things, I do have my moments and buy something when I should not. However best tip is figure out what you really want and once paid of a bill in full treat yourself, mine was the Adidas trainers once I'd paid the rent arrears. I now have my eyes on some Dr Dre headphones for when the Tescos card is paid off :)

I wish you all the best on your journey and I look forward to reading your diary too xXx
