And boom just like that I don't have a job due to Covid-19! :(

So !!!!!! of, my job were so nice and apologetic, the decision was made higher up at head office to do away with all temps, however once all this blows over they said they will have me back whether that be on a temp or permanent basis, who knows.

Spoke to agency, they are getting calls like this everyday and chances of getting another temp job are very slim. So going to have to sit at home, which I am a pro at, and ride this out. Least I won't be at risk, but Universal Credit is not a great thing to be on :(ย

Oh no!!!! At least the rent arrears are gone, and you have shown that you can dig yourself out of a hole. And huge swaths of people will be in the same position this time.

    Still feels awful though.ย

    Thank you,
Yes I am pleased I can stay at home and avoid this virus, that is the silver lining :) Just frustrated my plan to be debt free has a spanner in the works, least I won't have ยฃ30.00 a month deducted from my UC for rent arrears :)

They said once this all blows over and if I am available they will have me back, so that is reassuring
    Stay safe every one xx

Pay day, 2nd to last one :(

    Paid:
    Ebico Gas - ยฃ20.00 balance now ยฃ0.00 - was ยฃ48.32
    Water ยฃ25.00 (Feb payment)
    Tescos cc ยฃ43.00 - balance ยฃ1,500.00

I still have money in my accounts, a very very strange feeling tbh, and I am convince I have forgotten a debt. I paid the usual rent amount, yet to top up the electric key, but will next time I am out.

And I am bad but treated myself to a pair of adidas trainers I've had my eyes on since Christmas, they were ยฃ43.00 kids size so tax free!, a treat for paying the rent arrears.

Just did my end of the month figures, gosh I sound like an accountant... As of today my debts stand at ยฃ7,667.00

    This is made up of:
Extended Car Warranty - ยฃ200.00 remaining, I really need to get this paid offย
Tescos cc - ยฃ1,500.00, was the Halifax card transferred to 0% until June 2021
Westcott - ยฃ2,930.00 - debt collectors for the MBNA cc, has ยฃ5.00 a mth payment plan in place
Intrum - ยฃ3,037.00 - debt collectors for Virgin cc, has ยฃ1.00 a mth payment plan in place

Fingers crossed this won't get screwed up by this corona virus and I am still able to keep on top of them
Once these are all paid off I need to get into gear and sort out buying a home, that is my goal a long term goal at that will need what an ยฃ80,000 deposit?

I'm in Surrey and 1 beds start at ยฃ210,000 round here so ยฃ21,000 however I obviously want a good LTV and anything with a garden or above shoe box size naturally costs moreย

Then there is what I can borrow against my wages to consider, which at moment isn't worth working out as I have no job! but on say my temp jobs wages I could have borrowed ยฃ105,000 which is a short fall of ยฃ105,000 for the ยฃ210,000. property
