:xmastree:Wishing each and every one of you a lovely Christmas, however you are planning to celebrate. Raising a glass to absent friends.

A huge thank you for my Secret Santa. I fear that you all know me too well! Xx

Remembering Cycling Yorkie, Toots, Money Saving Diva and Mummy's little boy. With fond thoughts for Lady Lib too.. xxx

MERRY CHRISTMAS to the bestest people in the world.. I love you all lots. xxx

Having a wonderful time here.. Pixie broke her nose on the way home from school on Friday. I have whooping cough apparently.. waiting on results to confirm.. Twinkle has a pukey bug, Dot is absolutely bouncing off the walls and has been for 3-4 weeks. We have had Headlice, worms and scabies in the last week.. I caught the rat which thought my kitchen was a good place to live.. and to top it all I just set fire to my fruit box..

TY to my SS and for the cards..

I will be back when I can.. assuming this insanity sorts itself out!

  • Love and a very Happy Christmas to all my dear flylady friends. Hope you had a lovely day.

Feels like it has been an awful lot of effort and I am feeling a little underwhelmed if I am honest, but now I get a few days off from the paid stuff at least.

Happy Christmas to you all and thank you for my present, it is neat and will be much used.
Finished the knitting (actually a hat with a bluetit on top - yes I'm eccentric) at 2am but did not resort to knitting in church. Happily Mr N loves it but I never want to knit a bird again. SIL loved her flower arrangement. I love that Mr N booked me 2 drumming lessons! Ate too much so will not be going near scales anytime soon. It was good to have so many house elves; I did a lot of delegating so feel very blessed.
Hope your festive season continues well.

  • Himself loved his sunrise/SAD clock.

Felines loved their Munchies and the catnip mouse has been repeatedly murdered all day in between sleeps and attempts to coerce more Munchies from us.

Food was great. And in abundance.

And me? I got a present in the end.

A pair of mauve socks from the Pound Shop.

    Morning :xmassmile

I enjoyed our new way of doing Christmas Day :) After a quiet start having a cuppa with Dad the day slowly morphed into presents, presents and … more presents. Oh well, who needs floor anyway :D

My car alarm went off at 4 am today. Twice . No-one seemed to be around, but, by the time I'd hung out of the bedroom window to turn it off I was well and truly awake :(

DS is going to GF's today until Sunday, then they'll both return here for New Year. Note to self: must have floor by Sunday (DS is used to no floor, GF seems to struggle with the concept, and knocks things over! I expect she was raised in a house with permanent floor. DS wasn't :o)

Back to work at the paid stuff tomorrow - so plan for today is do a bit, sit a bit - and visit Dad this afternoon.

Have a lovely day whatever you are doing xx

  • Roudtuit - made me laugh! We have suffered with a distinct lack of floorage here too x

Getting a bit fidgety so checking my online banking and pricing up a new electricity contract. Have realised that sitting with my laptop on my knee on the sofa is giving me a sore neck so have tidied my little office and moved the laptop onto its stand on the desk. I love my office, its a really nice space but because I dont work at home much now it gets used as a dumping ground. Need to work on keeping it tidy.

Have done a load of washing and hung that out in the sun and will gently potter for the rest of the day.
