    The boss was just being a !!!! and not wanting to take responsibility for sending staff home.

    Didn't you say earlier that you didn't think he had the authority? So you can't then criticise him for not taking responsibility.
  • @jcs1 I don’t think I’m complaining. People are asking me what happened so I told them?
  • @barny as he sent me home he has the authority as he’s the manager or at the very least higher then me. He says he wanted to protect himself if anyone happened - people went home 1h15 mins early..... as did other departments, on Xmas eve. Nothing for mananegrs to be worried about: either do it, or don’t do it. Don’t get malicious

    @trailingspace he’s my manager/boss/line boss/team leader etc whatever you want to call it. But he doesn’t have the power to send people home early.
