Anyone in any of the Oil compaines?

I'm in GOO at the terrible level of 7p (only £250 though) and FOGL at 86.25 (which I'm happier about)

Was reading iii messageboard and FSE about GOO and it kept going up. I believed the talk and bought, anyway times a healer.

Quite. Most 'Main Stock Markets' are recognised by HMRC, though in practice you will be reliant on whether your broker recognises the shares as eligible for their ISA - some brokers don't accept certain shares even though they are technically eligible.

Eddie, if you're with Barclays and you're happy generally, why not transfer your ISA to Saga (if you're over 50?). They don't charge an ISA fee yet Barclays provides the service. Alternatively there's simply stock broking.

Good evening folks, got a quick question about Santander shares. Basically I had free shares years ago when A&L changed to a bank, these are now Santander shares. I have had a letter about scrip dividends and it's giving me 3 options on how I'd like to be paid. I'm sure thousands of you have had the same letter and was wondering which is the best option? As you can tell I have NO idea what any of it means and generally ignore all mailings from them. Any thoughts? TIA. :beer:

Yea I meant to buy some last friday, finally got some yesterday. Not sure its a sure thing but seemed a reasonable venture still from what I read. Actually been slightly positive just now, we shall see!

Also PMG and HER similar sort of continual fallback I may regret not getting any if we boom next week post greek election. However I have my doubts on that really being a happy solution

I have also received this letter and am not sure what to do, any advise would be welcomed.
