No joy for me at Tesco today. The cheese discount worked and the chocs were marked as full price. icon9.gif And I was so looking forward to free cheese and chocolate! :o

I asked for a rain check voucher last night for roast turkey slices, felt like I was doing staff training. Have to see if I can use my voucher tommorow and see what the outcome is.

Kicking myself because I ddint ask for one in Sainsburys on Thursday when they ran out of our favourite pizza. Got a bit carried away with Sainsburys 90% off bargains which involved two managers and wanted to get out ASAP before they changed their minds LOL

Some of the Tesco finest wines on special offer at moment. 3 bottles for £10, which is good deal. One is a Chardonnay, one a Sav Blanc, can't remember other red ones. Anyhow, show at £4.99 a bottle and at my local Tescos didn't take off the discount so charged £14.97 for 3 bottles.

I took receipt to customer services and was given a refund of £14.97 and told to keep the wine.

This was Saturday, who knows if they have changed it on their computers. Happy Shopping.

Didn't work for me scanned at a tenner, but what the heck I paid with coupons anyway would have been nice to go back in and empty the shelves with cash though!

when we find a good mistake like the wine instead of going to customer services to get your money back why not post it here first for 24/48 hours then everyone can benefit. when you report it to custservices it gets logged at headoffice so they can change the computer system quickly
    just an idea

And a damned good one too! Take them home and try them out first if you like them go back and empty the shelf 3 or 6 bottles at a time and produce the receipts at your leisure for your refund, this is the method I use I always make a test purchase but never go for my refund if the product is overcharged I go straight back to the shelf!

  • In Tesco today I noticed that the British beef rolled brisket joint had £3.88 KG on the pack but the shelf edge label said £3.49 KG I bought it, then pointed it out to a member of staff and they took me to the till to get my money back-didn't even have to ask! Hope this is available elsewhere, I've had loads of offers from all you lovely people so thoght I'd contribute. :o
