Had a read of the sign there, and it does actually say at the bottom that if you have been overcharged they'll refund you and give you the product for nothing. However apparently this branch is currently running at a loss, so they are only giving customers the product for free if they specifically ask for it
Report them to customer service Tesco "refund and replace" is a company wide compulsory policy NO manager has the discretion to overrule it. Report them!!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
biglugs wrote:I couldn't find any bar code scanners in the Aylesbury store this lunchtime - there was a big hole in the wall with all the usual posters saying "scan your items here..." though. Looks like it had been removed very recently.
Can we assume that they know people are getting wise thanks to MSE and have started removing the scanners to make it more difficult for us to find their mistakes??
i visit the aylesbury store often (boyfriend lives in aylesbury) i justtake anything i dont know the price off or want to enquire to the c/s desk or to the electrical dept as they seem to not have a lot to do there lolThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,

Just received my Tesco shopping (from Newport store) and for some reason the pack of 3 mild onions (in an orange net) were priced at 10p.
Not very exciting, but if someone wants to stock up??'My father told me to go for it.
So I went for it. But it had gone.'0 -
Tesco - Redditch has got family size chicken and veg pies (McDougals) priced at 19p each. My freezer is fully stocked now :j0

When I have complained about this before and taken the matter to HO they say that they only mean overcharging for an item not duplicate charging. Therefore they didn't over charge you for the milk as an item but just rang it through twice.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

In my opinion Tesco senior management would have returning the store to profit as their top priorityThanks to all who post constructively.
Have an A1 day!0 -
Roger_Rampant wrote:What a waste of time that would be, the manager would simply deny that people were only being given it if they specifically asked for it, and I have better things to do with my time thanks very much
