#152 declaring a measly £25 for May
I actually saved really well, then did quite a big help out for my lovely brother. Still, at least I could be useful.
Car insurance due July so June won't be much better! Not to worry, I'm still here, still saving!
Just reading through, it's blooming marvellous what's being saved on this thread!A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks0 -

Just filled in the form a little late for an April and May update of £2550 to fill up my emergency fund pot to £4000.
Really pleased to have reached my target early in the year so that spare money going forward for the next few months can go towards decorating and furnishing our new extension.
I’ll update my form if I manage to save any more for the rest of the year.
Thanks in advance for updating.0 -
A little late to the show but can you put me down for £15k? On about £8k so far, need to keep motivated! I’ll upload my monthly totals so far0

Updated with £802.47 for May. Just need to get back onto pushing this to hit my target!0

I updated a couple of months worth of entries to bring my total up to date. I’m just short of what I need for my full 12K in 2019 but there have been quite a few expenses in this part of the year that I won’t have later on.0

June update for number 148:
£834.32
This amount includes the annual interest from my now-matured HSBC regular saver plus interest from Marcus and TSB.
I'm still short of my 12K target by a little way and I don't think it will get any easier as 2019 continues as I've got a holiday balance to pay soon. Also the overtime at work seems to have dried up (although I do not rely on o/t to live as I did some years ago).
I suspect I won't make my target this year but 2020 is another year and I can have another crack at it and with this in mind I need to remember that a year ago I never expected to have as much saved as I do now.
Also I'm loving reading other posters comments on here - keep up the good work. This thread has really been an inspiration for me on my savings journey.0 -
