#37 - VERY belated updates for April £580.26 and May £423.74 taking my total so far to £1,681.27. Really not as impressive as I was hoping by this time of the year but oh well, these things happen.

    Great totals so far everyone

Also belatedly reporting for April and May :D

    April - £580
    May - £430

Bringing me sooo near target :j

Tempted to up target again but my loan finally goes into repayment in June so I’m going to wait til the end of the month and see how I stand then.

#157 reporting a healthy £1849.81 for May. Much better than expected due to an unexpected £1K windfall and the fact that I spent a bit less than expected on a holiday last month.

Already past my target for the year, but with a holiday to pay for mid-June and several weekends away to come I am expecting some negative figures in a few of the months to come.

More than double saved in first three days of June than the whole of May due mainly to overtime and interest. Think I'm now actually on target to hit £5k.
Spend less now, work less later.

Initially it was going to do that - go up with the years. However, I had quite a few messages from people saying that saving £13k a year would seem impossible, so I kept it at £12,000 so it's an even £1000 per month. No other reason really!
Ah i get it. I never looked at it that way.

Wish i could save £1k per month :rotfl:Think i may save it in one month at one point in the year...once. :rotfl:
