Whether that be better working hours, location of your work, better commute, try something new, better colleagues etc... You see, sooo many opportunities!
Definitely doing this! Thankfully I have over 8 years experience in my sector now, so feeling positive and I'm going all out to try and track down a great new role. Thank you for your kind words0 -
I wonder if "rich" equates to "has a lot more money than me"?!
100K would seem like riches to many people, but if that person is approaching retirement without any/much pension provision then maybe not...
it's all relative to the stage in the individuals life. If you're 18,-25 and still relying on overdrafts/ credit cards then I honestly don't think it's too much cause for concern, as long as you keep on top of them.
When I retire I want to keep at least half of my current salary as an income stream. Be that in state pension, private pension or whateverAbsolutely love a good bargain. If anybody has any money saving tips please send them my way :j0 -
Submitted Feb and March forms but April needs totting up so will submit later along with may.0

Incredibly belated report for April, a total of £1,094.92 bringing my yearly total so far to a very grand £83.07 :rotfl:Onwards and upwards! Shortly will report for May.0

Submitting £2,000 for May, which may be a bit optimistic but I won't know how much overtime pay I've had till later. I'll adjust if necessary next month.
I have a non-local wedding and a holiday in June, so I expect my savings will be quite meagre next month!Save £12k in 2022 thread #7:

Payday for me will be tomorrow but it's the last few days of the month with a few interest payments of slightly unpredictable amounts that mean I can't post just yet. I'm always so impatient to find out how I've done, but this month is looking better than last and keeps me on target for the end of the year!
Whether it's a good or a bad month, excellent savings work from everyone, keep it up!0 -
Took a trip to spendy town this month for some home repairs. It was a planned trip but I got distracted by shiny things on the road out so have a grand total of £52.76 to save for this month.Save £12k in 2019 #360

Reporting £560.00 for May, which is the best month so far but nowhere near where I should be.
Doing this challenge is really showing me that I am spending SO much money on things I don't need to buy. I am making more than enough to save £10k a year but it just isn't happening. Going to be doing a complete overhaul of my finances this month and hopefully I can turn it around!Save £12K in 2020 #58 - £454.58/£5,0000
