I haven't left the forum - I LIKE the forum. It's just pretty clear that I don't have what it takes to keep all the people happy all the time and when it comes to the point where I wake up at four in the morning composing a post in my mind...

..I'm not about to spend my nights kicking the bed apart and waking up just as tired as I was when I went to bed.

As I said - I don't know how to remove the stress from me. So I have to remove me from the stress.

Where in your "job description" does it say you have to keep us all happy all of the time?

You're quite right, though. Nothing is worth that kind of stress so a voluntary position certainly ain't. As if you don't have enough health worries.

Personally I'd like you to stay on as BG. You've been very helpful, friendly, tolerant and supportive, and I've done my best to repay that kindness. But you must do what is best for you. I just hate the way it happened.

By the way, you forgot to delete your signature then ... :D

    Lots of hugs.

Well, I hope you still pop into the Coffee Shoppe for a cuppa and a slice of sticky cake from time to time. You're as much of a chatterbox as the best of us girlies :D

ps. Brill indexing. Cheers for that.

Squeaky hun, no one can make everyone happy all the time, it aint possible so get yer !!!!!! back here!!!

You've done a brilliant job, we'd have a lot more repeated questions if it wasn't for you.

I specifically found my home here in Old Style because to be quite honest I found the rest of the site a little scary. I tried posting on another part of it and found myself jumped on and deleted over and over again by the BG (I'm not saying which bit it was. So I found myself here, welcomed, chatted to andmade to feel part of the gang.

This is what makes Old Style what it is, not the tips and hints no matter how useful they are, it's the people and the atmosphere. So we chat? Martin has already said he doesn't mind as he knows we are different. If it is causing a problem then perhaps someone with some techie knowledge should set up a brand new website for us because there sure as hell isn't one out there at the moment.

I've noticed that a lot of people who posted on the Getting to Know you thead don't appear to have come back, surely that must say something? I've waffled on far too long and probably gone way off track and back again, just Old Style I guess :D
