It is owned by the brother of a Tory MP though.

Which Tory MP would that be?

Our standards at least used to be ahead of the world, hence the BSI, I do not wish to come down to the tandards across the eu, have you seen some of the electrical wiring on the eu?

As for misrepresenting the eu army, did they not misrepresent the common market? If they don't score the goals they want they just move the goalposts. I do not trust anything they say.

Bit like saying we used to have the best post office in the world.

Even if you are right that the UK standards are so superior, there is nothing in the EU that stops us adopting higher standards.

Your last paragraph makes no sense.

Then we secure our waters to stop continental fishermen. If you're going to default brexit, you need to follow it through.

Just trying to work out how we will do this allowing for the fact we do not have enough border force cutters to monitor 50 miles of our south cost against a few flimsy boats.

Did you really watch what David Cameron was saying during the referendum ???

Did you really watch what US president Obama was saying during the referendum ???

Did you really watch what IMF was saying during the referendum ???

Has the referendum result been delivered and see the real outcomes, rather than economic prediction which many have been proven wrong in the past??

One life voting, doomsday, leaving the single market, custom union, doomsday, Uk is back on the que, bla bla bla ...

Result ? People have voted to leave the EU. end of.

I raise you a fat bloke with messy blonde hair who seems to have the trust of the masses :) He Trumped them all, no not that one.

The timescale is a good question; also the money to be spent on campaigning (is the government going to pay to leaflet all households again?)

Hardcore remainers will vote the same. Hardcore leavers will vote the same (vindicated by the argument that nobody's allowed to leave).

What percentage of the population is persuadable to change is the most interesting unknown.

I predict a massive decline in general election turnouts after this, and a lurch to the right if immigration concerns are not acknowledged.
The current Uncivil War drama on Channel 4 (episode 1) goes into detail about how the floating Brexit voters were identified and fought for by both sides. It's a drama but I think an accurate portrayal. And a rather good watch.

People who are fearful of leaving EU just because they might earn few pennies less, what they would have done if born during World War I or II?

Would they have surrendered to Germany?

After all obeying master is safer than taking ownership of one's own destiny.

There have been plenty of studies showing tens of thousands (and more) possible job losses post-Brexit, how does that equate to "earning a few pennies less" if you are one of those made redundant?

The comparison of the EU and Nazi Germany is childish.

I'm a Remainer, not "afraid" of leaving the EU but in my view the risks outweigh the perceived advantanges.

Of course you can just say it's all "Project Fear" and wait for the sunlit uplands, maybe we'll all be fine. The question is punk, do you feel lucky?

    ...

Plenty of studies showing probable job losses due to the advent of new technology too.

    So whats your point?

It's how we adapt to change, which will determine how successful we are. I happen to think that the EU lack the real long term vision of their major global competitors.
