So in todays news, in response to the 'negotiate the Backstop again' vote, the EU has come back with: 'It's May's original agreed deal or no deal'.

Does there now need to be a 'reply vote' in Parliament, to choose between those 2? I hope so because we need our MPs to nail their colours to the mast on that final point.

What the hell did anyone would think would happen, we spent forever negotiating the WD that Theresa May agreed to and now we want the EU to make a massive concession to what was already agreed without offering anything in return?

But of course for all the usual suspects it is just a case of the evil EU being unreasonable.

There is not much left to offer in return because Terraza May has have given it out all of them. Since the beginning they should have used every power Money, EU citizen in the UK, security and Intelligence to negotiate.

And she should seriously walk out from day one after looking the EU attitude to negotiation, not leave it until the last.

Now remoners are asking the No-deal scenarios to be taken out o the table. If you took them out what left ????

The people to be blamed are remoaners and Theresa may

I agree I think the EU could take a different direction without the UK's presence.

It is almost like we did have some influence all along.....

Which could have the greater impact in the upcoming EU elections?

    - the Brexit (debacle?)
    or
    - the continuing political fallout from the 2015 refugee/migrant crisis

We could even bring in a left Corbyn government, just as the EU parliament sees a swing to the right !

Are things really more turbulent nowadays, or is it a sign of my ageing...hmm.

The process for joining/rejoining is certainly a lot clearer than leaving !

The process for leaving is trivial, once UK Gov can figure out what kind of leaving it wants - it's not an EU process problem. Joining will be pretty easy though - do what we're told and lose our privileges, which is why I'm saying that leaving can't be entirely undone.

The EMA is gone, but then, I am not particularly bothered.

I am, it's a raft of professional jobs we've given away, and will make us poorer in terms of money and influence, for no actual reason. On it's own it's not a big deal, but I haven't seen anything to indicate that anything about Brexit will be able to replace those 900 jobs (a lot of which I assume were pretty specialist/senior) & collateral.

Why do all the EU haters shift blame all the time. The Irish border problem happened because we invaded and stole their country.

We can leave the EU easily, WE don't want to really leave. A minority of angry people want to leave. Due to the problems with democracy they've got it in there heads that we have to leave by any means necessary. That causes a problem for the majority that don't want the country to go down the pan.

If we could eject the leavers from the country then it would be much easier

    I thought it as 52%.
Why do you think it's a minority?

A minority of angry people want to leave.

Majority of people wanted to leave (52% is more than 48%) and minority of angry people want to overturn the result because they hate democracy.

    Fixed it now :)

In 1973 there was a refendum in NI where 98.9% of voters voted to remain in the UK. Southrrn ireland split from the uK in 1922. It was actually the Normans that invaded Ireland.

Northern Ireland chose to remain in the uK in 1973.

And I should not have to point out that Leave won the referendum.

You are almost as bad as Corbyn when he was convinced he had won the election.
