I know what you mean about other people being kind. Sometimes people really don't appreciate what it means to receive stuff. I got a couple of friends who've given me clothes for the kids on occasion and it is/has been so appreciated. Equally the loan (well perm loan as it turns out) of my FIL's car is just fantastic and really really appreciated by us. I just need to sort out the other one and get it sold for a decent price by the end of the month.
I need to pick up my DFW'ing a little as well. Although I've been quietly MBing and MSing my ebaying has all but disappeared. I need to get myself re-energised for the big final push at clearing these toxic debts of ours!
Both of us are already starting to think about life after debts - OH has been scouring the car websites for a car to do up! Me I'm thinking about how we utilise the money we'll have spare come Aug/Sept and what I'll do with my free time when not feeling like I spend every spare min debt busting...
We are still in the danger zone though I fear. We need to have focus and stay in control. Digging deep :rotfl:Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

Hello, hows things going? any joy selling the car yet? cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0

Thanks for the comment CG.
I've been plodding on for the last couple of weeks. Its felt like I've dealt with crisis after crisis but its not really been that bad.
My new car is so lovely.............:D:D:D. The best thing about it is its fuel economy - I'm loving the 38+ mpg rather than the mid 20's I was getting before. Hopefully this should make a reduction in our fuel bill each month?
My old car gave me grief last week. It went into the garage on Tuesday and came out Wednesday. On the way home from the garage it broke down (blown fuse as it turns out) which wasn't funny at the time! I eventually got it back Thursday (the bill wasn't too bad since I'd told them I was selling it etc etc). Sunday OH spent hours cleaning, polishing etc it so that it could be photographed and I listed it on ebay yesterday. Its got to go this month so that I can cancel the insurance and tax...
In terms of what we get for it....£4k would be super super fantastic as it would clear the B/card complelely - how wonderful will that be! Fingers and everything else crossed :T
Apart from that I've been doing the odd MS, MBing consistently, starting to list a little more on ebay again and needing to do something to lose weight - another long and boring story. With that in mind I'm going out for a run this am - wish me luck I'm going to need it!
Getting DF is such fun isn't it :cool:Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

The car has got some watchers already so that's brill.
The run - well Hypno - nothing like your marathon - definately more quick walking than running this am but it felt good to be doing something positive for a change.
14 weeks to go HTGDF - wow that seems to have come around so quickly. And your debt busting as well :T
