Ooh, that's a good way of doing it - I have 11 paydays till DFD......that sounds pretty good to me!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

It goes like that sometimes doesn't it. OH car had a nail in the tyre this week. £200 later ...he has a new tyre!! Since the car fund is well and truly empty that went on the CC and will have to come out of next month's car fund. Trouble is his car is going to need a service before we go on holiday and that will be in June but prob before June's payday. Cars.....
It's really windy here as well. We had a power cut in the night. Quite a long one since around 5am all the house alarms started going off including our own. So you can imagine what an early call that was on a Saturday am!! Oh wasn't best pleased.
I know 6 paydays (that includes this months!) - amazing and will be just short of 2 years since we started on being a DFW!!Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
Yeap H - I know it wishing my life away but putting it into paydays gives it some context for me.
HTBDF - I'm not sure. Definately going clothes shopping (hence the reason i'm on a fitness regime at present - that and holiday looming). I'm going to start a master degree in November as well so that should keep me busy. Really though try and relax a little (finance wise) and start paying off the mortgage (alert possible defect to the MFW boards - maybe), building up some savings and cutting ourselves a little slack - which staying on budget of course...
All a long way off though. Need to get ebaying again, still MS and MB but I've not taken any money out of the later yet just building up a pot of money. I've got at least £350 in my account now so its a nice buffer so I may just be able to take the odd £50 to put towards my month target of £200 extra - not as steep as H's target but I'm not sure I've got her energy :cool:Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

haha! I will still have to post here - to keep me from getting back into debt ever again, I reckon!
Besides, I still have a bloomin great mortgage to get through....
.....and I want to move to my dream house, so need to save a bit of a deposit - so mystery shopping, ebaying, scratchies etc will still be incredibly necessary!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. 20 paydays really isn't that much.....and I am sure you can bring it forward by a month or two.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
