Wow sounds lovely. Mine would just adore that.

We spent today at a rural centre. Weather was lovely and loads of little animals about, my lot loved it. DD not only wants to get a horse but chickens, sheep and rabbits as well :D

hi guys we're off to t'Egypt in August  Its going to be hot hot hot! Its all inclusive so Iwon't have to worry too much about feeding and watering the hoards! We need to pay for it at the end of May and ive been saving so with a little creative financing the money should be there! I'm starting to look forward to it now and will be glad when its paid for.

Childcare is EXPENSIVE! especially when they are little. mine went to every summer camp/sports camp in Sheffield! Trying to find one they liked going to and wouldn't break the bank! We found one at a leisure centre for £12 for the day 8am - 6pm! (send them a pack up) and they got to do everything, swimmng trampolining arts and crafts football etc etc so this was my fallback in the 6 wk hos. I would always send them with friends and it meant I could work a longer day to build up some flexi to take off later. Are yours old enough yet for summer camps? cgx

Wow Happytobe... sounds like you are doing great guns. Five months to go until the wedding - how excited are you. Plus the plans for building you own home sound great. How much does your debt stand at now? Must have reduced. Good to hear that you are still around.

Wow also to Comingirl - Egpyt you have said before. Can you do a stowaway in your luggage, passport is ready!! :rotfl:. No...well enjoy every bit of it.

Bad news this week on the car front. OH's car had to go in and have a brake bit (teccy term) replaced at a cost of £400!!! That has now wiped out the car fund yet again but at least we had it to wipe out in the first place. It never rains but it pours doesn't it!

On the plus side we've survived the holidays without spending too much money. I did a cinema trip for DS1's birthday on Wednesday. I was doing good using Orange 241 and not taking my other two until OH got involved so what would have cost me £40 cost me £55 in total. Just about in budget for his birthday treat but I would rather have been under budget.

Got DS2's birthday party tomorrow. DFW stylie again as I am sharing with friend to half the costs and the hassle. Oh the joy of small kids parties!! I love it really they grow up far too soon.

Busy weekend ahead and very little wine in...............

  • Morning love :D well when we finally sat down and looked at what we owed it was eeeeek 77240.69 its now 69423.58 everymonth we wipe 1587.74 just minimum and we are paying a couple of 100 off extra per month its just been halfed more towards the wedding which should be paid in another month :D ive worked out that by jan 2012 we will be debt free infact maybe sooner considering that 2 of my loands end 1 in april so thats 167.37 then one in december 160.20 i then have an extra 300 and some :) i cant do maths at this time... but aswell as that some of teh credit cards will have been cleared as thats my aim i keep slogging away on them..... debt has taken over my life and i get more satisfaction paying lump sums on the cards than clearing my wedding because i cant tell you how nice it is to see a clearing in site :D its some bloody hard work though :D xxxx
