  • Oh dear you sound so down, here's a virtual hug and chin up from me. I know exactly how you feel, as we all probably do on this site, so take comfort knowing you are not alone.

The weight issue is just as depressing as the debt, if not more so - people can't see my debt but they sure as hell can see my fat a*se! The only way I can manage my weight is by advance planning all meals etc but its not easy and I just love my food - especially chocolate! but thats another story.

You have come so far and are doing so well, and your story has helped and motivated a fair few people in the process - me included!

You will feel better in a few days, you can't keep a good girl down!

    take care compingirl x

  • Thanks all for your support much appreciated as always :T

Beanilou - I know it just goes like this sometimes but its just rotten when you are in it.

Lucielle - Didn't manage the wine and the bath but a PTA meeting instead. So I had a laugh with a few friends. I did glance back at the start of my diary and you are right I've/we've come a long way.

Hypno - Good description like PMT :rotfl: and I know that we have the end in sight but the green eyed monster still lurks a little. You are also right about the not needing things just wanting them !! Made me smile.

Compingirl - I know we all go through it at some point but its still tough. I just need to find the motivation which has got us here to help me lose the extra 2 stone I'm carrying. Maybe I need to start viewing another board - any suggestions for something that is that MSE is to the heavy weights of this world?

A little good news today was that my car was fixed and it only (listen to me) cost £47:T I really wasn't expecting that. So that is a definate plus. I've entered 3 MS tonight and I've one booked tomorrow. Lots listed on ebay and one item with a bid on (one that I really wasn't expecting to sell). Did a refund today for my stroppy buyer ( ). All in control really and looking forward to having a rest (3 kids who am i kidding) in half term next week. What a laugh?!

Thanks again for all your support guys. I am on the way up again just a bigger dip that normal.

Heres feeling positive and looking forward :D

  • Thats for that beanielou I might just do that.

Bad news today our dishwasher has stopped working. OH started moaning on about stuff not being rinsed but I fear it doesn't look good. Mind you we've had it 9 years but I was hoping for another few out of it. It the worse comes to the worse we do have an emergency fund for just such a situation but fingers crossed it won't come to that.

OMG its just started snowing again here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There dirty water in the bottom of it which suggest a blockage or something. OH will look at it I am sure tonight. I've not run a cleaner through it for a while so I might try that when its back up and running...hopefully.

Big while fluffy flakes now.............me too I really have had enough snow for a while.

Off to take ownership of my kids again now..no rest for the wicked.

I hope the dishwasher doesn't prove to be terminal. There's always something, isn't there! Life

  • Stopped snowing here now but its all freezing over! I can't remember snow staying around for so long, its been 2 weeks now with more forecast for this weekend! If we're getting a proper winter then I hope it means we will get a proper summer too :)

Hope the dishwasher recovers soon cgx

  • The dishwasher is looking to be terminal. I can't say we've haven't had our monies worth from it but I could just do without it. We've got an emergency fund which is going to have to pay out for this. Left OH to chose a new model and told him I'd buy it in the best DFW way.

I did suggest we do without it for a month and see how we go, I did get a response but not one i could print here!!

Slowly starting to feel more positive again which is good.

I've got a week off now so I need to try and minimise spending and maximise fun for everyone. No mean feat!

I'm with you on that one! If you think of anything let me know lol!

Mine aren't too bad actually, I think they are a bit older than yours my 2 boys are 11 and 14. They're into warhammer and have got a day out with their club on Monday which cost me £20, ive found a National Trust pass so think we might have a day out & picnic at some point. And I need to drag them round the shops (fortunately neither is into clothes yet!) for something to wear for a party and a wedding so thats my week sorted really.

My youngest had some braces fitted yesterday, bless, hes being very brave, they do look painful!

Bad news on the dishwasher I couldn't last a day without mine! Glad you are feeling more motivated cgx
