GAH to ebay bods messing you around! It is one of the reasons we have stopped using ebay, not because we WERE messed about, but because I read so much about others who are, that I don't know that I can be bothered for the risk. I know I SHOULD do it, because anything we get would be useful money, but I am not sufficiently motivated at the moment to do so.......

I think it is so unfair that you cannot leave negative feedback as a seller - it just encourages people to moan, because they know you can't bite back!

    Enjoy your evening out!

  • I've been quite lucky to date. But these two have wound me up in what has already been a long week. If I didn't need to extra money I wouldn't do it. Once my matched betting gets up and running I may reconsider the ebay stuff if I get more of this.

  • Oh no sounds like you need a large vodka! Or is that just me lol!

I had a dodgy buyer at xmas and it put me right off he even lodged a dispute against me for the goods not turning up! Its sorted now thankfully but you're right, it does put you off. I know sellers can't leave negative feedback but you can still write the truth in the write up! On a positive note, if nothing else just think of all the space you are creating at home!

Have a great evening, have a couple for me I can't drink at the mo 'cos of the tablets i'm on cgx

  • Thanks for the support. It has really hacked me off and put me off at present. Luckily I've got a lot listed (not sure if will all sell) and when I next list (I will be feeling more positive). Lets face it I need to be generating as much as possible each month from ebay to hit or exceed my £200 extra target.

I did have a lovely evening last night. Went for a meal, very quiet in the restaurant (weather or CC I'm not sure). Had a chat, some wine and a good time.

Posted the docs off to Betfair yesterday so hopefully I will be up and running with my matched betting on Tuesday when I am off.

Picked up some more mystery shops, 3 lined up and one today.

On a really really positive note I've just transferred the money from the debt fund to the RBS credit card to CLEAR THE CARD. ONe debt down completely :T :D :j :T :D :j

  • Well Done on clearing the RBS card. I can sympathise with the E bay problems - Last year I sold a £35 top shop bag for 99p which was described as 'distressed finish' which it was even when brand new - the buyer complained that it looked old! - She left me negative feedback but fortunately it was b4 the rules were changed so I left her negative feedback too - I had even given her the option of returning the bag if she wasn't happy and said I would return her 99p - The cheek of it!
Glad you enjoyed your night out with the girls - sounds like fun

  • Thanks all

The IF card is next on the hit list. The balance is down to £2k now so hopefully 2 months, 3 months tops, will see it cleared. Good to get them off the list.

Need to see what deals RBS will offer me as well.
