LOL not much thought then, you will have to create a new spreadsheet of what you plan to spend it all on to keep you out of mischief and away from the shops!
I'm so excited for you, it must be feeling very real and achievable at the minute! We'll all be here cheering you on your way to the finish line :j
One of my ebay items has 4 watchers already- no bids as yet and ive sold another 2 books on green metropolis so another £6 coming my way yay!
My weight loss has ground to a stop! My hearts not in it at the minute too busy - i can only concentrate well on 2 things at a time (i'm like Sauron's eye out of LOTR!) and at the minute its DFW and MSing, mind you, now they seem to have dried up its DFW & ebay/amazon etc - when my finances are sorted and my house is clear of clutter then I will have the time to think about losing the weight! cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
Yeap we are so similar on the WW front and yes the concentrating on one thing (ish) at a time. Mind you I've got to lose weight since my clothes are starting to feel tight and I can't afford any more. Slowly I will get there on the weight front as well.
Well done on the ebay/green met/amazon front. I've not sold anything on Green met for a while. I must check in and see if I've any money in there. I listed a load of stuff on Music Magpie yesterday which is sitting and looking at me. The CD's I've no issue with but I also listed a couple of the kids DVD's (not watched for years) and boy do I feel guilty. Hence the reason I've not pressed the sell button. Still not tried Amazon for books - I must!
Yes what has happened to all the MSing??
I'm going to list a couple of items this evening. Just finished putting the Tesco shop away. Wrap a few items that I can post tomorrow if I'm off - heavy snow forecast so no doubt the schools will shut again:rolleyes:Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
I know, whats that all about. My 2 came home today delighted, their headmaster told them school would probably be closed again tomorrow - its not even snowing here! i've been signed off today with a bad back - I wasn't sledging honest! so i'm off whatever the weather!
You want to try Amazon, the fees are high but you're only charged if you sell. What I do is price check on Amazon first - if I can list it for about £5+ I will, if not I will list on Green met. Then ive a pile of books left over to car boot in the summer Try Amazon for CD and DVDs aswell - you will get more than music magpie although they are such an easy service to use. To be honest i'm happy to get anything back, I can't believe when we moved house 3 years ago we had 2 suitcases (20 years worth!) of books in the loft which we had hoarded and although I gave lots away i'm ashamed to say we did end up skipping a fair few of them which would have no doubt sold for a fair few quid. But, you live and learn as they say! Anyway i'm rambling again
Telll me how well you are doing on your diet and you might motivate me to try harder! I even tried Hypno's running (is this where the bad back came from??) I got to the postbox and thought my lungs were on fire!! Shan't try that again in a hurry! lol
Anyway, off to make a cup of tea and nice slice of cake I think, all that talk about exercise and dieting has made me hungry lol!

Hi WH, What've you been up to today? Were kids off again? I struggled to get mine there thinking school was open and they were turned away at the gate! Took me an hour and half in some serious dodgy driving conditions but thankfully we got back in one piece.
Has your mojo come back yet? this weather (or more specifically schools being closed!) is enough to dampen anyones spirits cgCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
Weather was dreadful here and both schools were closed. My car sat on the drive today. Kids had a great time in proper deep snow. Walked into town to get some veggies, DD baked a cake on her own (lovely Chocolate one) and built a snowman with DS's. Great fun...
On the DFW front. A ebay buyer moaning about an item  which she paid very little for! Picked up a couple of MS's on GAP  .
NOt sure what will happen with the schools tomorrow. Its been a long week already :cool:Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
If you pay for dinners think of the money you've saved!

I don't pay for dinners but nice thought L!
 Getting very cross with a couple of ebay buyers that are moaning about their purchases. I always list honesty and charge postage to cover my costs/fees etc. One moaning as I've charged her a £1 more for postage than the package cost and another saying something is significantly not as described (Double  ) which is complete rubbish. The 2nd one I had my doubts about before she bought as she was firing ridiculous questions and has no feedback at all....lesson learnt for me I think. I think maybe the credit crunch is driving some people to not only want a bargain but things for free ...............rant over - sorry!! Makes my wonder why i bother but then £23k of debt is why I bother.
Anyway not a good day so far. School are open and i went into work only to spend an hour or so there and head back for home as it was snowing heavily at work. Got in my car this am to discover that the windscreen wipers wouldn't work. Great this will be at least £300 since it was one of the issues that it was in with before Xmas plus the engine light is back on again.....
The good news is that I am going out with some girl friends tonight :TWorking Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0
