Thanks folks - Only with the support of you guys could I have done this.
Updated signature to show £100 reduction for bathroom decorating. I've left in the £200 expenses surplus in case we need it. I've also added in the MBing money which was £345 so a ittle more than I thought. So we are well on the way to achieving our last mini challenge although I am sure their will be a few hitches on the way

£1400 BL which will pay off the debt in total before the end of the year. Thats why I can leave the money in my debt fund until I need too. This money all needs to come from extra since all our regular income is already committed to the debt to clear it in three month !!! You are inspiring me to think that I might just get there one day! It is so hard trying to deal with the bigger bills and that's where my problems have started I think! You are so so nearly there1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52

Definately continuing MB for the meantime so that we achieve our goal of being DF by year end Beanielou. I like it since its easy to do at home and tbh I like the challenege.
It is hard to deal with the bigger bills In My Dreams but we all have to start off somewhere and you've already come such a long way. When we started our Debt was £50k and it felt like a lifetime away from clearing it. OH's car thing meant that eventually I factored out the car loan which brought our debt down to £36k which is still 'chunky'. Focusing on small challenge's (one debt at a time) and learning how we were overspending was the greatest help in staying motivated and positive. You can do it, we can all do what we set out to doWorking Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
My slow but faltering jounrey towards being DF continues.
The negatives- Did a MS today with a £15 spend and only went to the wrong blinking place (yes I know that I am some kind of wally
). So the £15 spend will need to be returned.
- Our PC is playing up yet again. We know its on its last legs but it so needs to hang on. Luckily we have DD's PC to use but we could do without main one dying.
- Car tax (I know thats never a positive) but we've got the bills for ours and its around what was expected £365 for the both so I guess a little good news. Only OH's MOT and my service o/s but OH's car insurance next month...we'll see
- OH was advised that he can expect his annual bonus next year since they are on track to hit target. This is great and for the first time ever ever ever they're won't be any debt to spend it on! Well apart from the mortgage
- Sold a few bits on ebay, nothing massive but a few quid to add to the total. Nothing else listed as I've lost my motivation at present. Perhaps I'm a bit weary, not sure?
- I did a MS today (right time and place on this one!)
Oh and my OU papers arrived :eek:Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 - Did a MS today with a £15 spend and only went to the wrong blinking place (yes I know that I am some kind of wally
