  • Ours has been nursed along for the last 2 years to be honest. Its really struggling now and whether its just got a virus or something equally sinister I don't know.

I forget to add that I also overspent on the birthdays budget bug style. I've sent my brother a chq for his big 40th birthday (whole months budget!) and i saw a friend today who's recently celebrated her 30th and therefore I got her a small pressie as well. Needless to say the budget is well and truly blown for October and November since all this months month went into the manic birthday month we have in September in our family!

    Happy days

  • Feeling really hacked off for some reason - probably because of PC. I need to not let it get the better of me! I'm definately a control freak I've decided.

Wrapped up an ebay parcel to post tomorrow and answered a question on one item so shuffling forward. Going to knock up a casserole for tea tomorrow night since its a manic night with cubs and everyone in and out.

I'll feel more positive again tomorrow

  • Thanks HTGDF thats kind.

Its just a pile of poo - rant over - but its really hacking me off.

Last time we have an issue we used an online forum to sort it out. We might have to resort to this again or take it into a place in town which can sort things out.

    We'll get it sorted eventually!

  • Thanks HTBDF. Looks like the PC has had all its memory taken up with something which is why its going mega mega slow. OH is cleaning it up very slowly. We'll get it up and running again and it can limp on until the new year. I'd rather get a new one in the sale with 'spare' money than use the debt fund money now.

  • On a positive. I got the hound's insurance renewal through today. I managed to knock £20 off the quote (with a slightly better level of cover) plus get another £40 cash back.:j I'm well chuffed. On checking on my quidco account my car insurance has now been validated so when this comes through I'll have at least £104 due before the additional £40. This will certainly help with the debt fund.

2 MS to do on Saturday plus my spend to take back from going to the wrong place yesterday:o.

Another ebay sale done today plus another ending tomorrow and currently upto £15. So totals updated without tomorrows sales as fingers crossed they will increase!

CC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!
  • Thanks CG we're making slow and stready progress towards our goals. MInd you the totals might still go down if/when the car costs come in over budget.

2 MS's to do tomorrow, what fun, nothing as exciting as M&S though. I must be on the wrong sites!!

A couple of ebay sales ending tonight which will add another £15 to the totals :D
