Between shifts now, pouring with rain so no dog walk. Instead I caught up on a couple of long overdue phone calls to friends. Will now take a look at the list before lunch.

DIL's dad passed last night A blessing as he was in so much pain.

If I manage to wash my hair today it will be a glorious thing.. I am stupidly busy!

Kelpie collapsed this morning at hydrotherapy. He's been to the vet and had a checkup, and they can't find anything obvious that caused it. Not sure he's going to be allowed to carry on with the treatment, which would be very moneysaving, but not my first choice.


It's thrown an already busy day totally out of kilter.


Secret Santa package arrived. Must start Christmas preps myself ....

HB - I hope Kelpie is ok. Lots of doggy hugs coming his way.

It was a good job that I got my finger out yesterday flying-wise, as today has been a bit of a non-starter. I have managed to change, wash and get dry our bedding. I think that might be it. I ticked off a small list of chores in the small town, including a quick market visit. And a routine check up at the dr surgery. Slinky needs to be back on, as does finding a way to get some exercise to make up for no longer jogging. Personally it would have been a lot easier if she had said to drown my sorrows in gin and gorge on cake until I have created a national shortage. Wishful thinking.

HoneyBear - fingers crossed for no repeat performance.

Been to post engagement card and Flylady cards. Had genius idea to get to card shop on way to work. Posted cards when I got home.
Pots washed/put in DW as appropriate. Bits prepped for tomorrows lunch - ie out of freezer to thaw in fridge.

Sorry to hear about Kelpie's collapse, HB - very worrying.

Bits and pieces achieved today, including knitting 4 legs for a sheep Also went out for coffee with a longstanding friend who I haven't seen for about 10 years

Must clean through downstairs tomorrow morning before someone comes here for a meeting at 10.30 :eek:

I have dysoned my ground floor, stuck some towels in to the wm, cleaned bathroom after washing my hair and done a quickly tidy.

I have a parenting lesson at home at 9am. Should be interesting!

We have a new family member. My cousin’s daughter had a little boy ( think he will be my 2nd cousin once removed)

I am getting back into flying mode this AM. I have to take the dog to the groomers tomorrow morning and as soon as I get home I have a friend coming over. Prior to this week the public areas of the house (let's not mention the dining ROD) would have been visitor ready but it's fallen down this week, in part due to time but also low mood has taken my oomph away. Will update here as I go along; if there's nothing after this my oomph vanished. :rotfl:

Whipped around the kitchen, didn't take long to get it ship shape.
S&S ensuite and main bathroom. Still need to do downstairs wc.
Stripped DD1 bed.
WM x 2 DW x1
The OH changed the brushes on my robot vacuum cleaner and now it doesn't want to work. Will get the vacuum cleaner out to do the stairs but the rest can wait.
My coffee table is turning into a hot spot, removed some junk mail earlier but need to do another 5 minutes.
