    Morning tea

Had s quick catch up tea. Hope Dd ok, wisdom teeth are awful. My eldest is suffering at 14, I was very young too. The salt water rinse a great tip, will give it a go.

Your pots looking healthy and you're doing so well on the Cc debt. Well done tea, you're really sticking to your plan. Xxx

Great to see your update - isn't it great to be in a position to overpay the credit card even more this month because you've done so well with your pots? It won't be every month you can do this but every little helps :)

Sorry to hear your daughter is under the weather (i missed why, but i saw someone mention wisdom tooth?). Yikes. I had back to back infection in one of my wisdom teeth and late last year I had to get it removed. The first 24 hours was horrid but after that, it was pretty plain sailing. Hope it doesn't come to that but she has my sympathies.

  • I'm sorry DD is suffering with her wisdom teeth :(. I had all of mine out when I was in my twenties due to overcrowding and I've never regretted it, they're not very useful as teeth go.

Your pots are looking healthy :).

Sorry to hear DD is suffering, she has my sympathy, I at age 37 still have mine growing in! my bottom left one needs brushing with a baby tooth brush as it's only partially erupted and then corsydol mouthwash to stop any issues happening, the dentist doesnt want to take them out (neither do I really) as they have been xrayed and they are growing in nice and straight (just taking their own sweet time lol) xx

Yet more sympathy for the wisdom teeth. If it's really painful she can also double up ibuprofen and paracetamol for a little while but I hope it won't come to that.
And congratulations on your pots mounting up, you've done so well - it's very motivating.
Like you and Beanie, I have had my issues with the TT foodbank rules and have now found another one here to donate to with less draconian rules. A young friend of mine told how they'd reduced her to tears when she went a second time to the TT place, she already felt despondent and she said she was ashamed of herself by the time she left. Of course, that's probably one individual on a given day, but still - it really annoyed me and I will no longer support them.

The problem with the TT is that they are bound by rules, rules & more rules.
    Independants all the way.

Just a quick post as I've been out of the house for most of the weekend so need to go through my money and banking etc. and bring myself up to date. Not tonight though, but it's the first job on the list tomorrow.

To everybody who has mentioned wisdom teeth - ouch! I really struggled with mine when I was 18 for 2-3 years and I should have had them out but I was terrified. I seemed to be on a/b's every other month which I doubt they'd do these days so one more episode and she'll have to have them out. DD is back to uni tonight. Her wisdom tooth seems to have calmed down. It's partially erupted but the dentist thinks there's enough room for it come through.

JJ - I don't understand why people who are working in food banks would want to make somebody feel so bad. Surely they're there to hand food out and lend an ear, not to judge and pass comments. I'm really sorry your friend had a bad experience. I've never worked in one, just donated to them.

HG - It would be nice to overpay by nearly £200 every month but that's definitely not going to happen. It would be nice to aim for every 3 months though if the pots continue to grow.

Hope you all have a lovely evening. Back tomorrow with figures. xx
